It’s ever so exciting to be sharing the first of Mia La Vida’s bridal collections with you today!
London designer Tanya at Mia La Vida created the “Isn’t She Gorgeous” collection featuring gorgeously designed wedding dresses, each made of 100% silk. Each of Mia La Vida’s bridal gowns makes a unique and timeless statement, breathtakingly beautiful and with all the ‘wow’ factor in the world!
Interchangeable sleeves transform every gown with fashion forward silhouettes and divine character. Mia La Vida brides will shine in ‘Mia’s garden of hand sewn embellished flowers, and sparkle in ‘Tia’s glamour. ‘Paris’ sleeves elevate the look to angelic heights while ‘Savanna’s modern contoured style oozes confidence and femininity.

The most memorable weddings are those which are absolutely YOU. Charlie and Lucy’s personalities shine through the photos of their day: bursting with life and love, colourful and fun with a fabulous sense of humour. The happy pair chose Chelsea Physic Garden as their wedding venue, and top London wedding photographers York Place Studios to capture their day.

I get a real sense of excitement from these photos. There’s an authenticity that makes the moments feel closer, as though I’m there in the moment with every picture. I’ve said many times how much I love real documentary wedding photography for the atmosphere it brings to every shot. I can imagine these two leafing through their wedding album in twenty years time and being transported right back to the wedding day: it all feels so real!
Here’s a few photos to show you what I do as a wedding calligrapher!
When I’m not writing English Wedding, I write calligraphy for weddings. I help couples with everything from invitations to place name cards to table plans, wedding signs and more!
You’ll find me at By Moon & Tide and @bymoonandtide on social 🙂

Photographed by Jessica Reeve Photography. This stationery suite is printed on recycled Kraft paper, with envelopes and place names in hand written calligraphy. It’s perfect for a sustainable wedding, a barn or festival wedding and that lovely rustic elegant look!
