Our home page has had a revamp and is looking fresh, foxy and full of new things!
We’ve tweaked the entire focus of English Wedding – rather than simply sharing real weddings and inspiration, we’re focusing on sustainable weddings and maintaining mental health while planning. Watch this space!
It’s been lovely to meet so many new faces over on my instagram these past couple of weeks – and lots of you who got engaged over Christmas and New Year! So I wanted to say hello properly, and to introduce myself and tell you a little about English Wedding. I kind of came into this in a weird way, you see!

Welcome to the crazy world of weddings!! You’re about to dive into a Pinterest-fuelled, instagram-filled year of weddingy loveliness, swooning over everything from crazy flowers you’ve never heard of to mind-blowing cake design you never even dreamed could be real! And of course – wedding blogs. We’re the FREE version of wedding magazines. Sure, it’s nice to grab a few printed copies of wedding mags from the shops when you first put that engagement ring on your finger – but trust me, wedding blogs are the BEST source of inspiration and ideas for your day. And you don’t have to pay a penny to read them!

I’m shy of putting my face out there on the internet, I’m not a wannabe celebrity – just a girl who loves the beauty and creativity of weddings. So I hide behind the blog and rarely show my face!
