As we come to the end of the year, we have some of our most beautiful weddings to share with you. I’ve been excited to publish Chris and Sarah’s day – the romance and love are just amazing, and the images that capture their day are outstanding. This is a London wedding which will stick in my mind for a long time to come for so many reasons. I really do hope you love it too. Claire's signature

This beautifully styled wedding inspiration was sent in by our friends and English Wedding members Younger Photography. We love the elegant styling touches and all the foliage in the arrangements – the cake is fabulous and the setting is breathtaking. You’ll LOVE both dresses featured in this shoot – Kelly is absolutely stunning in both, and they’re perfect for the timeless setting of magnificent Welbeck Manor.

Winter’s classic colours are timeless and beautiful. Reds teamed with soft whites and green accents can be brought right up to date with softer, complementary colours. Adding a splash of gold is genius; playing with shades from pale reds to deep burgundies gives scope for stunning displays and gorgeous design. This colour palette works wonderfully for weddings throughout the winter season all the way through to Valentine’s Day. We’ve taken inspiration from our lovely friends Amanda Karen Photography to share some of our favourite ideas with you today.

A guest article by our friends at Truly Experiences.

A traditional wedding has a flower girl to sprinkle petals before the bride enters, and a young boy to be the ring bearer. But there’s no reason why a wedding in the 21st century has to follow these traditions. In fact, you could forego these roles entirely if you want your big day to be clean and simple.

However, maybe you like the idea of giving a nod to tradition, but you don’t have a girl or boy in your life of the appropriate age. On the flip side, you might have several little cousins, godchildren or nieces and nephews. Choosing one over another could cause a major rift!

A glorious wedding on a rainy day… and proof that rainy day weddings can make for the most stunning photographs and memories of your day! Katy and Ryan look fab – her dress from Ava Rose Hamilton is so incredibly beautiful and she looks amazing. I do love a groom in glasses – Ryan’s happiness absolutely shines and the pair are just gorgeous together. Do scroll down and read their English Wedding interview, as it’s a beauty! Huge thanks to lovely Heather Butterworth Photography for submitting this wonderful wedding to the blog. Happy Monday everyone! Claire's signature
