Coltsfoot Country Retreat
I’ve worked here loads and absolutely love it. Coltsfoot has it all. In 2021 they reopened after some major refurbishment to open up the barn space so it now has high ceilings and exposed beams, letting in loads of light (an unusual feature for barns).
Stunning wedding style inspiration from two of our lovely English Wedding members. We knew when Stockton House got together with Nicola Gough Photography magic would happen. But this, oh this is a whole other level of beautiful. The setting is divine. The images are glorious. The styling is exquisite… you’re going to LOVE this! The floral styling by Big Little Things is incredible (we’d feature these guys every. single. day!), Evelyn & Elliot‘s stationery fits perfectly. Rob & Rebecca look amazing in a Peter Posh suit and dress from My Little Wedding Shop, with Rebecca’s hair and makeup by Mrs Kassi Mac.

Fans of the Netflix smash hit Bridgerton were just as captivated by its magnificent locations as its Regency romps – and now couples can marry in the beautiful park where the high society elite promenaded around the serene Serpentine Lake and iconic bridge.
Glorious views, romantic white follies and picturesque bridges combine to make the 18th century landscape gardens at Painshill in Surrey one of the most magical places for couples to exchange their vows.
I love to share a positive story, and it’s fabulous to see something wonderful emerging after such a tough year. Many hospitality businesses have had a really tough 12 months, but the team at exciting new Shropshire wedding venue Stockton House have used the time to totally refurbish the Georgian building to create a unique and stylish venue ready for a wedding resurgence.
Stockton House will open for weddings in April 2022. Over the latest lockdown, couples have been arranging video calls and taking private virtual tours around the house and grounds. We’re thrilled to hear that Stockton’s diary is already filling up with wedding bookings for next year!
