Team E-Lope created THE perfect mini outdoor, romantic and playful Easter wedding blueprint at The Castle Westenhanger, Kent. The colour palette was a meltingly delicious milk chocolate combined with a cute duck egg blue, and no Easter would be complete without a hint of carrot! Seriously, with a mix of the traditional and some unexpected styling and props, there are so many adorable and inspiring ideas to add to your mood boards to help you to create the cutest Easter inspired minimony.
I’m completely in denial of the blustery Monday outside my window and 100% smitten with today’s STUNNING festival wedding on the blog. I do love to begin a week with a wedding to knock your socks off, and I think we’ve really nailed it today with our gorgeous couple Charlotte & Will. Their day combines rustic styling touches with elegant looks for the bride and groom – their tipi reception is absolutely lovely; the top table with their children is a joy (I love this idea!) – and the florals in white with oodles of greenery are just exquisite. We’ve lots of love for English Wedding member Mamad at Twig & Vine Photography who has captured their day beautifully. Have a lovely Monday everyone!
As always with a Martin Dabek Photography wedding, I urge you to scroll all the way through to the end for the amazing evening shots, so beautifully lit and breathtaking! Today we’re at Polhawn Fort for gorgeous couple Catherine & Iain’s micro wedding. The pair went through all the stress of postponements and ever-increasing restrictions on guest numbers for their 2020 wedding – but despite being small, this is a really lovely, romantic and heartwarming celebration and I’m proud to be sharing it with you today. Catherine’s dress is a beautiful Stella York gown, and Iain looks fantastic in a navy blue three piece suit. The flowers are glorious, and of course the images by Polhawn Fort wedding photographer Martin Dabek are out of this world. See more...
Time to talk about your Big Wedding – the one that’s going to happen after all of this is over. Maybe you’re having a micro wedding first and a big party later. Maybe you’ve postponed getting married until 2022 or 2023. Perhaps you’re planning a big do in the summer and planning to party the night away, festival style, in a big open space! Either way, when those big wedding celebrations happen again, we’ll all need to let our hair down and have the party of a lifetime!
We asked Fortune Band to share their top tips for keeping a wedding dance floor filled all night long! See more...
A joyful 2019 wedding with a traditional ceremony in a 600 year old church. Beautiful bride Anoushka wears a bespoke Mona Vora gown with lace detail and a stunning back. Ivy trails from a loose bouquet full of foliage with sea holly, salix (willow) and blue / grey leaves – the flowers and foliage are wonderfully different. An elegant tiered cake with gold accents captures the autumn vibe of the day – as do the fabulous images by lovely Jessica Grace Photography, who gets a fantastic review from our happy couple Laurie & Anoushka!
