Well good morning, beautiful! I have a stunning wedding inspiration photoshoot to share with you today. This will appeal to those of you who aren’t so fussed on pretty pastels and are looking for a bolder, more dramatic and impactful statement. Here’s one STUNNING way to make your wedding stand out from the crowd. Huge thanks to lovely wedding stylist Nonie Leonard for sharing this glorious shoot with us! I’ll leave Nonie to tell you all about it.

With love,

The style and concept was brought together, by a bride’s take on bringing modern elegance to a rustic venue. Lillibrooke Manor is beautiful and surrounded by amazing grounds and scenery, perfect for an elegant wedding whilst staying true to the style of the venue.

Today’s stunning couple were married at Chippenham Park Hall in the springtime, and styled their day with the most incredible cherry blossom and pink peonies. Maryanne’s dress is incredible: the designer is Jenny Packham and the embroidery detail couldn’t be more perfect for the springtime! She looks beautiful – every bit the English springtime bride – and Adam her perfect match in his made to measure suit, bought in Dubai.

The colour theme was pink, white, green and gold. Both the marquee and church were covered in cherry blossom with real trees lining the aisle in the church. In the marquee the mixture of trees and hanging flowers from the ceiling was truly spectacular! The floral creations were the work of the amazing Lucy Vail. Maryanne told me her favourite flowers were the peonies and hydrangeas – the smells were simply divine!

How did you choose your photographer?

Lots of searching on the internet. We were really impressed with his portfolio pictures. Joab then came for a visit and his patient & relaxed attitude won us over.

Were you pleased with your wedding photographer? Do tell… we love a brilliant review!

Joab was absolutely brilliant! He had clearly done his research on the location and we think the photos speak for themselves. There is not a single guest we have shown the photos to who has not been seriously impressed with the photographs.

This BEAUTY of a wedding photoshoot has everything I love most. It’s French, it’s filled with flowers and golden sunshine, and the styling and details are from sustainable brands – ethical weddings being one of my favourite things for 2021 and beyond. And oh, it’s proof that ethical weddings can be insanely beautiful. Huge thanks to lovely Pauline from Calypso Events for sharing this with us, and to the entire team for their work in creating such a breathtaking collection of images.

With love,

We only used ethical and responsible products, such as the flowers, the dress, and the rings. It was really a huge part of our concept to produce something beautiful that was completely ethical and respectful of the environment.
The flowers are all seasonal blooms from an organic farm. The napkins and ribbons are natural hand-dyed. The dress is made of 100% bio gore-tex cotton. For the guest favours, we choose little soaps made by hand, organic and biodegradable (and they smelled like paradise!) . The rings with fair trade silver, were made by the groom for the bride, and vice versa.

Morning beautiful! Ah – isn’t it lovely to have an extra day of weekend though? We’ve just basically been outside the whole time, away from humans and exploring nature. It’s been bliss! How about you? I’ve been thinking about wedding blogging – sometimes it just feels like pure, blissful escapism. I hope you get a flavour of that from reading the blog too! Looking at beautiful weddings all day is an absolute joy and today’s takes stunning to a whole new level! Charlotte and Alex are gorgeous, and their day is just amazing from start to finish – you’re going to LOVE this!

Take a little time today to breathe, to relax and to escape from reality with this tranquil and beautiful wedding editorial from Beth, wedding planner at Miss Carlysle & Co. I’ve fallen head over heels in love with the light, the florals, the styling and atmosphere of this enchanting set of images, and I just know you will too. The venue is Sissons Barn, the photographer is Nikki’s Moments. The talented team of Cambridgeshire wedding suppliers created a fairy tale of soft tones, simplicity and a perfect love story. I’ll hand over to Beth to tell you more.

A fairytale of soft tones, for a beautiful wedding look from Sissons Barn (1)

We decided on a simple, elegant styled shoot which started from a mood board into the creation that came together from the suppliers, with the use of a grey and white theme, through the stationery to the flowers. Traditional but with our very own twist, to inspire a modern couple.

It was a true love story for the modern couple Chelsea and Kristian, with romance in the air, full of laughter and love. From the ceremony through to the wedding breakfast.

With everything going on in this crazy world right now keeping in touch, socialising and spending quality time with friends is now more important than ever. People are spread across different locations, stuck inside and feeling a bit odd about the world around them. Hen dos are always a fun, bonding experience but also, almost always, a drama to organise and adding drama to anything at the moment is to be avoided at all costs.

If the idea of organising a ‘virtual’ hen party has you filled with fear or perhaps leaves you feeling a bit cold then seek help from a planner like heyyholly; someone who gets your group, most importantly the hen, and understands the nuances of how to make something virtual into something memorable.

When it comes to organising a ‘Virtual Hen Do’ the creative ideas, the personalisation and all the little details are just as important as ever and the icing on top is making it fun, inclusive and memorable….and not in a ‘I just had a really cringeworthy conference call’ but in a ‘we lived moments that we didn’t think were possible’ kind of way.
