Starting from this year between October and May, the historic clifftop hotel will now be available for exclusive-use hire for weddings with the launch of its wedding offering.

Housel Bay hotel is Britain’s most southerly hotel, situated in a secluded clifftop location in an AONB, and is in the perfect location for a coastal wedding, offering an uninterrupted backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean and Lizard Lighthouse.

Sustainable weddings are growing in momentum, and we’re here for it! This article for a Hampshire wedding venue suggests three top wedding trends for 2024:

  • Sustainable weddings
  • Shorter engagements
  • Individual styling touches

It’s lovely to see how the wedding scene changes every year. Top of our list is always the move towards a more individual wedding, and this piece by The Grange Hampshire tells us couples are moving away from set ‘wedding packages’ at venues (yay!), instead choosing to curate their own individual weddings.

This gorgeous inspiration comes from beautiful Chicheley Hall and lovely wedding planner Jessica Ghansah Weddings. The look is opulent with an art deco vibe. GB athletes Lauren Smith and Marcus Ellis (currently at the badminton world championships in Denmark, and we wish them all the luck in the world!) modelled for the day, and both look incredible! Lauren’s dresses are stunning – we love the detailing by designer Nicole Milano!

The floral styling makes this wonderful shoot a showstopper. The colour pops of orange set against copper accents are a joy to see! I will hand over to lovely Jessica to tell you all about the photoshoot! Enjoy!

That’s Friends with a capital F… and a part of Katie and Dean’s elegant and subtly funny wedding theme! Keep scrolling for gorgeous little Digby and his puppy dog eyes; for stunning blooms and the most romantic of days. Katie and Dean both look amazing (as all couples do on their wedding days: grooms and brides really do have that happy glow!) – and the images by Steve Barber are sublime. See if you can spot their “hidden Mickeys” – and check out more beautiful pics on our English Wedding instagram.

A classic and traditional wedding in the Peak District, with a handful of unique touches to make the day really special. Tasmin looks incredible in her ‘wildcard’ wedding dress, picked out by her mum! Her favourite memory from the day was “sat at the front of the beautiful Bakewell church having just married my soulmate, looking around at our closest family and friends in the congregation”.

You know what? I think that’s what a perfect wedding is: having that one moment where everything is just overwhelmingly perfect!
