Our venue ticked every box we desired.

Did you love wearing your outfits? How was the dress / suit shopping experience?

Picking out my wedding dress was a dream! To put on my fairy tale dress and have my mum beside me was magical.

Suit shopping was quick and easy as we had a elegant theme of beauty and the beast so just needed the dark blue suits

Did you hire a florist? Tell us about any floral amazingness

My florist was excited to pick flowers and make arrangements to match our theme in a timeless way inspired by Disney.

As cake lovers here at English Wedding we’d LOVE to know who made your cake, and how delicious it was?

We had a local lady (Cakes by Lesley) make our cake. We found her as through lock down she baked and provided to the local community. We loved her cakes so much we hired her.

Did you personalise your vows or have any wedding readings? What were they?

Classic church wedding vows

What was your first dance song? Why did you choose it?

Lucas Graham. Love someone.

When we listened to the words of the song it fitted our relationship perfectly being a blended family as a wife to be I didn’t just make room in my heart for my future husband. But made room for his two boys also.

How did the pandemic affect your wedding plans? Do you have any advice to share with couples planning their weddings right now?

We had to postpone a year and the cancelling broke our hearts. But through the toughest of time we found it made us strong as couple. And we knew we were making the right decision.
