I do love a lazy Sunday. I even love the rain – it means I can do a bare minimum of cleaning then spend the day snuggling with my man and a book. And a hot chocolate… because y’know, winter! And the cherry on my snuggly little Sunday-cake is a beautiful wedding editorial… that luxury of scrolling through insta, finding a beautiful blog post and diving right in, absorbing all the loveliness and dreaming of a future wedding day. That’s my perfect Sunday right there, and I’m SO HAPPY to be sharing this with you lovelies today. Huge thank yous to our fabulous English Wedding members Jennifer Jane Photography and Keyleigh Marie Weddings for sharing with us. Aren’t they amazing?! Full supplier list (ALL EWB favourites!) below…

My heart lifts when I see the love and warmth in a beautiful celebration like this one. Our gorgeous couple Nicola & Michael were married at Sherborne Abbey in Dorset in 2019. Their Stockbridge Farm reception is perfect: the florals and styling are exquisite, but the focus of their day is on love, joy and celebration with family and friends. Huge thanks to Sherborne Abbey wedding photographer Robin Goodlad for sharing his images of such a beautiful wedding, and to our stunning couple for allowing us this very special peek into their wedding day! You’ll find their fave suppliers and plenty of top tips below so grab a cuppa and read through as you enjoy the fabulous shots of a very, very special day.

What’s more important to you right now: the outside of your wedding dress, or the inside?

Whether you’re a perfectly proportioned beauty or a curvy girl like me, your wedding dress has a very important job to do – it has to make you look your best all through your wedding day. Maybe that’s showing off all your best bits, perhaps it’s hiding some little insecurities. And yes, fabric and embellishments and finish and straps and sparkly bits are what we fall in love with when it comes to wedding dresses. But there’s more. And it’s what’s inside a dress that will make you feel amazing on your wedding day.
