I love seeing the wedding readings our featured couples choose. This was a new one for me, and I think it’s really sweet. Every now and then a wedding reading will inspire me to pick up my calligraphy pens as well!

That Still and Settled Place

Edward Monkton

In that still and settled place
There’s nobody but you
You’re where I breathe my oxygen
You’re where I see my view
And when the world feels full of noise
My heart knows what to do
It finds that still and settled place
And dances there with you

Hey lovely! We’re having a week full of weddings – it’s an absolute dream on the blog for me, and today’s couple Katie & Laurie are just stunning! They married in the Cotswolds and lovely Alicia from Red Maple Photography was there to capture their day. (I’m proud to say Red Maple Photography is an English Wedding member!) I LOVE all the styling touches by Kirsten from The Little Wedding Helper – and Wild & Co’s flowers are absolutely breathtaking. There’s a full supplier list below, and you can read all of Katie & Laurie’s reviews and recommendations in their English Wedding interview right here!

Good morning lovely! I hope you’re surviving this crazy heatwave… and if you have sunshine, yay!!! I’m a very happy wedding blogger today, tucked in my little office by the garden with a quite hot and floppy cat sprawled by my side! And I’m excited because I’ve got the loveliest wedding to share with you! Jon & Claire were married at Tetbury’s Great Tythe Barn last summer, and chose Cotswolds wedding photographer Martin Dabek to capture their day. Check out their light up letters from Burnt Orange: they’re such a gorgeous backdrop for the ceremony and reception and I LOVE them!

Hello beautiful – how was your weekend? I do hope you’re staying safe in this still very unsettling times. Still on a little mission of sharing life’s joyful moments, today we’re wishing a very happy anniversary to this lovely pair! Gorgeous Katie & Jonathan were married on the 10th of August 2019, and their flower-filled, beautiful country wedding is simply perfect. I hope you’ll love it as much as I do!

With love,

Katie & Jonathan's elegant rustic Unitarian Chapel wedding, with Jennifer Jane Photography (25)

How did you choose your photographer?

We came across Jen in a South West wedding magazine and were instantly drawn to her style.
