Morning! How are you? I’m all bright and bubbly today – it’s going to be a great day! I’m happy too because – in the spirit of Piglet – I’m about to do a Very Grand Thing. I’m going to introduce you to the very wonderful Rosie and the Boys. Rosie makes papercuts for wedding day gifts and keepsakes. I think they’re incredibly beautiful.
Rosie told me, “The idea behind this papercut was to allow people to hide a message within the design. At first glance you just see the beautiful flowers but look closely and you’ll find the special message. As an example I chose “Sweetpea, my sweetpea” a favourite Paul Weller song of mine. I wrote a blog post about the creation of the piece which you can see here: http://www.rosieandtheboys.com/2013/06/19/the-story-of-a-papercut-from-inspiration-to-creation/
“A client contacted me recently to create a Peony design along the same lines, her message hidden in the very centre of each flower. I love creating bespoke designs so welcome requests to feature other meaningful flowers.”
