Linda and Paul are one of those star couples who really celebrate in their own unique and exciting way. Their wedding at Wasing Estate Walled Garden is just fabulous – with a report from the groom (yay!) this is just the best!!

Wasing Park wedding blog (35)

It’s been way too long since we’ve had a wedding report from the groom – Paul planned the day with artistic input from Linda and created the most amazing, bright, quirky and fun wedding celebration. I can’t tell you enough how much I love this! The wedding reading choices are great: Terry Pratchett and Dr. Seuss – awesome. The Moroccan theme and balloons make this a spectacular party with delicious colours and flavours and I only wish I could have been there! Do read the wedding report at the end of the feature – it’s unmissable 🙂

Hello everyone! Today’s wedding blog is all about the LOVE! I’ve just discovered Jo and her independent business The Alphabet Lounge… and I’ve fallen head over heels for them! Fancy making a statement at your wedding? This is the most wonderful way to do it…

I love anything to do with letters and typography. I told Jo “I dream of plastering massive words in bright colours all over the walls of my house one day!” and it’s true! If I wasn’t renting an apartment I’d be painting song lyrics all around my house… and if I was planning my wedding I’d most definitely be buying some big letters from Jo and then decorating with those too!

Michaela and David’s wedding is about as British as British could be – their chic London theme is fabulous and their styling is beautifully elegant. Michaela told me they wanted to incorporate London into their wedding without turning it into a gimmick, and they did it perfectly. The images by English Wedding Blog’s new friend Matthew Bishop Photography are just wonderful and I know you’ll adore this wedding from the start!

With a graceful and sleek Suzanne Neville gown, lots of lovely gypsophila, a big red bus and ‘proper’ postbox, candelabras and a fabulous naked cake, I have to say weddings rarely get better than this! Congratulations and a massive thank you to beautiful bride Michaela and super stylish groom David for sharing their day and writing a brilliant wedding report for us today.

Lots of happy thank yous also to Matthew Bishop Photography for submitting this wedding to the blog. I have all of my fingers crossed that we’ll be seeing plenty more from Matthew, but in the meantime do check his wedding photography out here:

Hey lovelies! Happy Sunday 🙂 Today I’m so happy to be sharing Rachel and Daniel’s castle wedding from North Wales. They opted for a very traditional wedding style which perfectly fits their incredible venue – and I know there are lots of you reading who are planning an elegant, classic wedding so I wanted to share this with you today.

Rachel has written a great wedding report at the end of today’s feature, full of advice and styling ideas. Do take the time to read it after you’ve scrolled through all of the lovely images by Darren Williams Photography.

I know you’ll agree Rachel is a truly stunning bride and her bridal style is just beautiful! Together with Daniel she looks radiant – and their adorable little boy still almost steals the show! Watch out for him – he’s such a cutie! Enjoy!

More than we could describe!! He was incredible in every way.

Hello again and welcome into my little world! I’ve been playing with my paints and with the help of some wonderful people I’ve put together a lovely little tutorial for any brides and grooms who fancy getting painty this weekend!

paper flowers tutorial

Ingredients for your paper flowers: crepe paper, cotton wool balls, big paintbrush, tube(s) of watercolour or gouache paint, double sided tape, scissors, bamboo skewers, bowl, and a microwave… and about 6 hours per 50 flowers!

The finished paper flowers were taken to a creative shoot which I hope will inspire couples to design and make some pretty bits and pieces for your own weddings. All of the paper pieces I made can be recreated at home so do watch out for the shoot – coming to a wedding blog near you soon! The three images from the shoot are by Jamie at Vickerstaff Photography and a full list of the fab suppliers involved is at the end of this feature.

Hello everyone! It’s not often these days I share infographics on the English Wedding Blog but this one made me chuckle so I thought you might like it too! Fancy hiring Kylie, David Guetta or the Black Eyed Peas for your wedding? Here’s how much it’ll set you back. Thanks to the lovely, more affordable wedding band A Few Good Men for putting this together for us! Enjoy.

Today’s beautiful bride Katherine used lots of independent and creative suppliers to help with her wedding to gorgeous groom David. They’re the loveliest couple – and as well as the stunning images of their vintage country fair wedding they’ve shared a brilliant wedding report at the end of today’s feature. Don’t miss it!

Mythe barn wedding blog (1) The wedding venue is Mythe Barn in Atherstone, Warwickshire. I love a barn wedding, and this is such a wonderful venue in lush countryside. Wedding photographers Peter and Sara at Pixies in the Cellar captured Katherine and David’s wedding beautifully. Do get in touch if you’re looking for a wedding photographer:

Hello lovely! I’m smiling as I type because I know you’ll love today’s real wedding feature – it’s short and oh so fabulously sweet! Yiran and Wanqing had an outdoor wedding at Le Gothique, filmed beautifully by Deneemotion Boutique Wedding Cinema+Photo (based in London). The romance of this highlights film brought tears to my eyes… and a big grin at the end. Don’t miss the competitive bouquet toss… it’s fantastic!

Le Gothique is a stunning setting for a wedding, and Yiran and Wanqing’s outdoor ceremony used the outside space beautifully with hanging paper pomanders and an archway filled with roses. Find out more:

Eleanor and Sebastian’s wedding knocked my socks off the first time I saw it! I’m so delighted to be able to share it with you today – they’re the loveliest couple and this really is an incredible day. Seb wears a Vivienne Westwood suit, and Eleanor a David Fielden gown – and they look amazing.
