When Warwickshire photographer AJTImages joined English Wedding last month, we were blown away by the creativity of his images. Fantasy fans and movie lovers will be captivated by these, just as we were! Alex invited us into his world to see just how these alternative wedding photos are created – and we’re sharing his inspiration with you today!
After a past in press photography, I photographed my first wedding back in 2008. This is when I realised my true love for photography was in weddings and I haven’t looked back. Here I am, 14 years later and I photograph 40 – 50 weddings a year and I absolutely love it.
A wonderfully chic wedding in Hampshire, with exquisite styling and a lovely bride and groom. Stunning florals and a fabulous colour palette “we chose burgundy as our main wedding colour based on how good Dan looked in a burgundy tie 🙂” – this relaxed wedding in a beautifully modern venue is everything. Huge thanks and congratulations to gorgeous couple Carly & Dan, and our heartfelt thanks to London wedding photographer Kristian Leven for sharing the images of their day.

This styled shoot has been inspired by the bay of Arcachon, in the Southwest of France, near Bordeaux. This area is very famous for its fresh and delicate oysters that can be savored all year long. As a French wedding photographer from this region, I wanted to bring up a small group of local vendors and models to help me illustrate the charm of our winter season.
