Wedding dresses should tell a story, the story of YOU.

Choosing your wedding dress can feel very daunting. With all my experience helping more than a thousand brides the most important advice I like to give is: “Please yourself!”

You will love your dress but no one else will love it as much as you do. Your opinion must come above all others. Don’t compromise on anything just to please someone else.

I’m in love with this wedding. It’s bright and joyful and colourful and… well, it’s everything. Jimmy and Aaron are gorgeous. Their photos show a love and tenderness which is just adorable. Their day is relaxed and fun, playful and full of special moments which are making me smile back at my screen. The venue is very quirky. Aaron and Jimmy are a super relaxed couple, very much in love and asked their guested to dress in the LGBTQ+ flag colours and they did not disappoint. The outfits and shoes were just wonderful, as you will see. It was a wonderful colourful wedding. I always like to begin a new month with an amazing wedding, and today’s makes me SO happy. I do hope you love it too!Claire's signature

Planning your big day involves a lot of considerations, but have you thought about the drinks menu? Here, Steve King, Managing Director at Bottled & Boxed, shows you how to design the perfect drinks menu for a memorable wedding.

Planning a wedding involves so many elements, especially when it comes to food and drink. Many wedding venues will provide catering packages as part of the deal, which can take most of the organisation off your hands. However, if you’ve decided to go for a slightly more unconventional celebration — such as a barn, beach, or festival-style wedding — then it’s likely that you’ll need to sort the catering options yourself.

I have been a wedding photographer for 8 years now. I have learned so much along the way and evolved as a photographer and a human being! I have had quite a few evolutions of my logo and the colours I use to represent my brand but have never really thought about who I was as a photographer or who I wanted to put out there to my clients and audience.

That was until…lockdown! Lockdown stopped all weddings and businesses with the industry.  I had to step away and look after my family, as everyone did. Home schooling, support my teacher husband, just get through it.
