This gorgeous pair did everything differently, giving guests an incredible and unforgettable day as they celebrated their wedding in Manchester. I’m so thrilled to be sharing their multicultural wedding here: with the amazing vibes of an Indian wedding and the brilliant creativity that feels uniquely Mancunian, it’s an epic celebration and such a joy – with fantastic suppliers including Manchester wedding and music photographer Priti Shikotra, choice entertainment picks from Wedding Jam whose roster includes Craig Charles and Huey Morgan (seriously, OMG wow!) Will and Jasmine’s wedding was built around the fabulous experience they gave their guests, and it looks epic.

Only a few months ago we featured Will & Jasmine’s beautiful, quiet civil wedding in Bolton on English Wedding. (It was utterly wonderful, and Jasmine’s dress was gorgeous.) The pair booked Priti Shikotra to capture both of their celebrations, and their review and recommendation for Priti as one of my favourite Manchester wedding photographers is a delight – keep scrolling so you don’t miss it. (I’m in awe of Priti – she learned her craft as a music photographer before shooting weddings, and we bonded when I saw she’d shot a Korn gig, when I was still buzzing from seeing them myself.)

The venue is awesome, the styling and creative touches are artistic and so personal, the groom and bride look stunning – this is a wedding for the ages.

I adore a celebrant-led wedding, and Sonal Dave comes very highly recommended as a multicultural wedding celebrant who also specialises in LGBTQ+ weddings. She’s one of the top Asian Toastmasters in the UK too!

And one last note from me – the couple found wedding planning apps frustrating to use, so Will built a seating planning app of his own, which is available for all couples to use. Manchester multicultural wedding photographer Priti Shikotra

We couldn’t be happier with the incredible job Priti did photographing both our intimate registry office day and our main wedding day. From the very beginning, Priti was an absolute joy to work with, she was very accommodating when we changed our plans for the registry office shoot because the weather wasn’t looking great, and she was really helpful during the planning process for our main wedding event with timings for the day and logistics.

The photos she took for both occasions were great to look back on afterwards because we saw moments we missed while we were involved in the celebrations. She made us feel completely at ease and gave clear, helpful direction when we were taking the group shots, and couples portraits, on where to stand, how to walk, and how to pose, which made the whole experience feel natural and fun rather than staged. We genuinely had such a great time during the shoot, which really shines through in the photos.

Afterwards we were amazed by how quickly she turned the images around. The response to the photos from friends and family has been overwhelming, we’ve had countless compliments on how stunning the photos are.

April, our hairdresser, is a friend of Jasmine’s. It was really special having her around for the wedding morning and she did a fabulous job on everyone’s hair.
