It is so important to me to recognise every kind of wedding on these pages. I adore the quiet magic of an intimate ceremony, and Jasmine & William’s marriage is just that: utterly magical. They said their vows at Bolton’s Albert Halls, with images by Manchester photographer Priti Shikotra and wedding flowers from Sweet Bud Florals. Jasmine’s Needle & Thread dress is divine; William’s purple suit is just perfect for an intimate springtime wedding. Such a lovely couple, such a gorgeous day. I am so excited for their Indian fusion wedding in June!

We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer than Priti for our registry wedding. From the moment we met her she was a joy to work with. On the day, she captured every emotion so beautifully, including moments we didn’t even realise were happening. She transformed Bolton town centre into something magical and made us feel completely at ease with her calm guidance. We’ve had so many compliments on the photos she took and will treasure them forever.

Our wedding venue

The Queen Elizabeth II Room at the Albert Hall in Bolton – this is the venue for registry office weddings in Bolton which are larger than 4 people.

The Albert Hall has some lovely features including the staircase where we took our portraits. The Queen Elizabeth room is spacious and well lit.

Our wedding outfits

We decided we wanted to have a theme of spring colours so all our guests came wearing pastels and floral prints. I wore a colourful, floral, ankle length Needle and Thread dress which had a lot of movement. William wore a purple suit with a floral tie which matched my dress.

My bouquet was stunning it was made by Liv at Sweet Bud Florals in Stockport who also made William a matching buttonhole.

We went for pizza after the wedding at Tesoro, a traditional Neapolitan pizza restaurant in Bolton which is just incredible.

My mum made us a gorgeous little wedding cake with handmade fondant flowers on top!
