It’s almost the weekend and we have another gorgeous wedding to share with you – this time, sent in by my lovely friends at The Little Paper Shop in Cheshire! I can’t introduce this blog post without plugging my modern calligraphy classes at this gorgeous wedding & paper boutique – it’s in Nantwich, and I’ll be there on the 7th of September for beginners modern calligraphy and brush pen lettering workshops – come and join me if you can!

Now as well as being the creative whirlwind and owner of The Little Paper Shop, Cara is a talented wedding photographer. She captured Liz and Andrew’s Shropshire wedding for them, and I’m thrilled to be sharing it with you today!

Liz is just beautiful in her Essense of Australia wedding gown, which she found at Shropshire Country Brides. Despite a few dress wobbles in the run up to the wedding, Liz stuck with her choice and we LOVE how beautifully this dress works on her – it was meant to be for this stunning bride!

“I had never been one of those girls who has their wedding planned in advance, but once I started I knew what I wanted it to look and feel like. I have a creative streak, and wanted to design as much of it as possible so the invites; table placing and orders of service all used my script and drawings. Cara at The Little Paper Shop designed some loose leaf florals for me in a muted pink (to match the bridesmaids dresses that I had already bought!), which we put with rose gold and the theme grew from there. The styling of the day was all muted pinks, ivories, and delicate flowers with beautiful scents – such as roses and peonies – and with lots of texture and sage green. I loved the flowers – and in particular my bouquet – which blew me away! It was such a beautiful shape!
