Let’s begin the week with something beautiful… a classy and elegant styled photoshoot from Norwood Park. The colours are sublime, the textures are just perfect. We’re in love with the soft fabrics and the table styling… and that’s just for starters!
This is gorgeous inspiration from a lovely bunch of Nottinghamshire wedding suppliers, and we hope you love it as much as we do! More on our insta…

words by Emily Jayne Weddings
Norwood park is a country estate, nestled in the Nottinghamshire countryside. A place ideal for weddings wishing to combine grandeur and a classic quintessential English backdrop.
When Laura and Emily began organising this styled shoot they wanted to bring together classic and timeless elements pairing the Morgan 110 car with chic modern lines of the Peter Posh black tuxedo.
The show stopper moment of this shoot is the minimalist high neck crushed satin Hera Couture dress from Bridal Warwickshire. A dress that screams luxury, effortless elegance and impeccable tailoring.

The exterior of Norwood park lent itself to this vision with the Georgian windows and oversized white front door.
The styling and accessories all had their part to play and were chosen carefully. The shoes by Freya Rose London hinted to the something blue and Hermione Harbutts stand out hair band was the perfect switch for an “evening look”! Deciding to capture this in direct flash photography showed off the fun a couple can have on their wedding day.

Aine and Tom are a real couple, with their love for music bringing them together. They travel all over the country busking in local towns. When they were asked to model in the shoot they were overjoyed and despite the forecast of snow they still made the long trip to us. Their chemistry and connection is at the forefront of these images and they made the entire shoot as natural and real as possible.

Throughout the shoot we also wished to bring textured elements and a pop of colour. This was mainly through the stunning florals created by Flowers in the Wild. The blousy bouquet gave movement to the photographs and the texture of the poppys included were definitely a wow moment!

The gallery at Norwood park brings stunning natural light, impressive floor to ceiling mirrors and grand gold chandeliers. We decided to style this with a single long banqueting table, continuing the beautiful florals through the middle in bowls and stoneware jars.

The table was styled by Rustic Rose events. Using varying heights in candles, textures through glass candle holders and hand torn wild flower stationery by Paige & Co, the styling brought a prettiness to the shoot, with blush pinks and nude tones.
Overall, the shoot encompassed elegance, timelessness and an element of fun. We enjoyed every moment of creating this shoot and seeing our ideas come to life in both of our photographs is a great feeling!

For those of you planning an outdoor wedding, we present the most beautiful Sperry Tent as the modern alternative to a classic marquee. The light and airy florals give this wedding styled photoshoot a summery vibe, and our gorgeous models Shriya and her partner bring it all to life. Huge thanks to lovely Martina from Wonderful Events who sent this in, and to the entire team for creating something SO beautiful.

“The idea was to present the mighty Sperry tent by Boutique Marquees at its best in a French inspired, timeless, outdoor wedding. Oldberrow House, a beautifully renovated Victorian home bordering Warwickshire and the Cotswolds, provided a lovely backdrop to our marquee. This family run wedding venue is available to couples across the UK and allows them to create a wedding of their dreams.

Timeless French elegance concept with a modern twist suitable for the English countryside comes through in the light blue rich linen, textured lace plates, and romantic summer florals. Together with soft bespoke calligraphy, light blue single candles, and rattan lamp shades creating a perfect relaxed luxury. Blues in this concept truly represent a French luxury and romance. Where wooden rustic bar structure, behind the dance floor octagon, and rattan lounge furniture indicate the countryside.

Pastel colours, fresh flowers in combination with dried and preserved flowers floating above the top table in the cloud created a summer dream.

The cloud was made up of apricot gyp, apricot Limonium, apricot statice, white gyp, dried broom and dyed preserved peach trailing Amaranthus.

Centrepieces were made up of light blue delphinium, apricot Lisianthus, white agapanthus, baby blue eucalyptus, peach carnations, white aconitum, pink peonies, Astrantia, blue sweet peas, Dorchester roses, Jana spray roses, apricot statice and Limonium.

Our lovely bride was wearing Francois by Hera Couture. Timeless, luxury, and sexy a line skirt with a split. Made with heavy silk drill satin the dress moves effortlessly, and with sculptured dropped shoulder corset the cleavage is just perfect. Hera Couture makes dresses with real women in mind, and we just know that every bride will feel million dollars in this one!

Our handsome groom was wearing pastel blue three-piece skinny suit with a modern apricot tie.
