A wonderfully chic wedding in Hampshire, with exquisite styling and a lovely bride and groom. Stunning florals and a fabulous colour palette “we chose burgundy as our main wedding colour based on how good Dan looked in a burgundy tie 🙂” – this relaxed wedding in a beautifully modern venue is everything. Huge thanks and congratulations to gorgeous couple Carly & Dan, and our heartfelt thanks to London wedding photographer Kristian Leven for sharing the images of their day.
Dan and Carly have two great pieces of advice for other couples:
A traditional summer wedding with pretty, feminine florals and a relaxed reception under canvas on the family farm. This is lovely: Michaela is beautiful in her Diane Legrand dress from Minster Bridal Boutique and Rupert looks fantastic in a classic wedding suit. Summer 2020 weddings were different; but we’re celebrating that they could happen at all – and this lovely day is both a reminder of those lucky couples who got to say their “I do’s” and an affirmation that summer weddings WILL happen again in 2020.

Many of us, I daresay, believe that our own home town or village is the best place in the country to get married. I know I do, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to showcase mine in this blog. In doing so, I’ve got a suggestion right at the end of this blog for those of you who are planning a town or village wedding. By that, I mean one that isn’t taking place at, for example, a country hotel with its own grounds. My tip also works if you’re looking forward to an ‘urban’ engagement portrait shoot.
Happy Bank Holiday Monday! Today’s wedding is relaxed and fun – with the loveliest DIY styling touches and a vintage vibe – oh, and the prettiest bride! It’s a fabulous wedding and I love it all the more for the fact that Will made all the paper flowers. What a superstar! (I love anything that stomps on the myth that grooms don’t get involved with wedding planning.) This is seriously special, and I just know you’re going to find some brilliant ideas for your own wedding in here. Images are by lovely Katie Winter Photography. Have a wonderful day everyone!
I’m so proud to be able to say we feature EVERY kind of wedding on English-Wedding.com. For me, a wedding doesn’t have to follow a standard formula or conform to a particular look, or trend. It only has to be a celebration of love, with a splash of creativity and imagination… and gorgeous couple Ayla & Jake celebrated their commitment to one another in the loveliest possible way. A sunrise ceremony in English woodland, albeit on a very rainy day, an ‘official’ registry office marriage and a cosy and heartwarming day spent with friends and family make this a really special wedding for us to share.
