We’re talking gorgeously modern, gently alternative, glamorous wedding styling with a luxe twist. And yup, all of those things fit together beautifully. A trouser two piece by Kate Edmondson Bridal, styling by Perfectly Planned 4 You, and simple, elegant florals from Catherine Short Floral Design – basically my dream styling team. Captured by our fave, Amanda Karen Photography – this is everything.
When I scrolled through this gorgeous styled shoot I realised we’d enough stunning images to make two features for you! So here’s part 1 (part 2 coming next week!) This is absolutely glorious, contemporary chic bridal style with sass – I just know you’ll love it. The shoot centres around super cool Stoke Newington, and was created by Lou at Lovehairbylou. The venue, now sadly closed, was Stokey’s wonderful Last Crumb Café, and the outfits are by bridal designer extraordinaire Kate Edmondson.
I thought we all deserved a little treat this Sunday afternoon, so gather round and snuggle up for an extra special dose of wedding lovely. Our fabulous friend Amanda Karen Photography sent in this beauty of a shoot and I’ve fallen for it hook, line and sinker. The styling is exquisite; the colour palette is fabulous. This is a shoot in two halves: the copper dress takes my breath away and I’d love to see more brides wearing such a bold statement dress… but if that’s not for you then the bridal jumpsuit is unique, different and 100% on trend for 2019! Both outfits are by the always fabulous Charlie Brear.
Somerley Estate sits right on the Dorset and Hampshire borders and is the stunning backdrop for this inspiration shoot. A privately owned home and wedding venue, the house was designed in 1750 and has been in the Normanton family for five generations. Somerley is gorgeous, (very) grand and has a lot of history. With this shoot I wanted to bring a little piece of understated contemporary style to blend with the traditional luxury surroundings.
