Hey lovelies, how are you doing? It’s been another rollercoaster weekend – I do hope you’re all getting through this ok. Can I share something beautiful to bring a smile? Stunning couple Adwoa and Jonny were married in safer times, and their spring wedding is full of joy, elegantly styled and a delight to see. I hope you love this as much as I do!

How did you choose your photographer?

They had photographed a friends wedding and came with a great recommendation.

A treat from pre-lockdown times! I LOVE how Andrew and Camilla casually mention that they gatecrashed their own daughter’s christening… to get married! Surprise weddings are the best thing in the world… and the images from this gorgeous pair’s day tell such a lovely story. This is such a heartwarming story, and I hope in this week of turmoil for everyone, it will bring a smile. Andrew and Camilla are gorgeous – I love everything about their day. A few of my personal highlights – Camilla got changed behind the organ. Godparents found out about the wedding the day before – with a surprise stag / hen meal – where they found out they were best men & bridesmaids too! Their dog is with them every step of the way… The photos are wonderful – they bring a tear to my eye every time I see them. Huge thanks to English Wedding member and talented Cambridge wedding photographer Damien Vickers Photography for sharing his images with us. I hope you love them.“english

Today’s wedding inspiration is dreamily dark and daring – perfect for the occasion! Tonight – if legends are to be believed – the gates to other worlds are opened and spirits can pass between… Also, we get to light candles, dress up and watch a cracking horror. (has anyone seen The Haunting of Bly Manor?) In the meantime… wedding blogs are going to be rather fabulous today so do check them all – I’d like to think lovely Noemi at Thyme Lane Photography has come up trumps with this AMAZING inspiration filled with smoke bombs, dark sparkles and the most incredible styling creations!

Morning lovely! Aren’t the autumn vibes from this photo just glorious? I’m thrilled to bring you stunning Lana and James’s wedding in Cornwall today. The fabulous pair were married waaaaay before lockdown, and their 1940s inspired wedding is glamorous, sophisticated and full of love and warmth. All images are by our lovely English Wedding member and friend Tracey Warbey Photography. With love,“english

I loved Tracey’s candid and natural style – her photographs look happy and spontaneous! When we met she was very down-to-earth, friendly and enthusiastic which I loved.

My heart lifts when I see the love and warmth in a beautiful celebration like this one. Our gorgeous couple Nicola & Michael were married at Sherborne Abbey in Dorset in 2019. Their Stockbridge Farm reception is perfect: the florals and styling are exquisite, but the focus of their day is on love, joy and celebration with family and friends. Huge thanks to Sherborne Abbey wedding photographer Robin Goodlad for sharing his images of such a beautiful wedding, and to our stunning couple for allowing us this very special peek into their wedding day! You’ll find their fave suppliers and plenty of top tips below so grab a cuppa and read through as you enjoy the fabulous shots of a very, very special day.
