Manchester wedding photographer Christy Photography – We had a fantastic experience working with Christy. From the very start, she was incredibly organised and thorough, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. My step-mother said “every time I looked round there was this incredible young woman who seemed to be everywhere.” She managed to get everything without intruding on the action. Her eye for detail and creative approach show just how skilled she is. Highly recommended!

Sandhole Oak Barn wedding venue, Congleton, Cheshire – We fell in love with Sandhole before we’d even got off the driveway. The staff were friendly and responsive, the venue is beautiful inside and out. Unfortunately, you don’t have an option to choose different caterers and have to use Top Table – but they were also wonderful so it was nice to have one less decision! The layout of the bridal suite and dressing room was also a big plus. It was lovely going back there after the party was over. I didn’t want to leave! I am so happy we chose Sandhole.

I knew I didn’t want the traditional white dress, so I went for blue with white lace over the top. It started life as a Colombian quinceñera dress which I bought for £60 on Vinted. I had it altered to add the corset back and add a bustle hook up. My husband had a tie and pocket square in the same colour as my dress. He is always lamenting the lack of choice in men’s clothes, but looked great in his suit. By a funny coincidence, the registrar was dressed exactly the same.

Sweet Messages Vegan Cupcakes were amazing. We didn’t want to do a big cake, so we got a small bento cake, which meant we still had something to cut into. So tasty and we were thrilled to be able to get a gluten free box for our guests with intolerances.

The Get Back Beats were our fantastic band. Tom was really responsive and happy to adjust the set list to our tastes. 100% would book again.
