This fabulous wedding began with downpours – and you’ll see it was torrential as Lucy was getting ready and Matt welcomed guests to their rural marquee setting. It’s funny how tempting it can be to mention the weather with every real wedding blog I publish, but in Lucy & Matt’s case, the drenching that began their day will be a huge part of their wedding story. In utterly wonderful contrast, the newlyweds had prepared for anything with summery straw hats which had ‘Hello Sunshine’ written on the brim. Luckily, they served their sunny purpose later in the day!
