New wedding brochure and more from beautiful Kent wedding venue The Ferry House

Published by Claire Gould on

We love showcasing our favourite wedding venues, and since the lovely folks at Kent wedding venue The Ferry House have updated their wedding brochure, we couldn’t wait to share some of the new offerings! Check out some of the new additions below…

The perfect getting ready space – for both of you!

We adore The Ferry House’s new Garden Lodge. It features a custom, handcrafted rustic dresser with light-up mirrors and seating for three, making the space perfect for getting glammed up. Styled with the classic Ferry House touches – vibrant pheasant wallpaper, warm wood, handmade furniture, and a vintage industrial vibe – the Garden Lodge is nestled in a secluded spot of the venue’s 1.5 acre kitchen garden.

Both the Powder Room and the new Garden Lodge provide wonderful spaces for getting ready before your wedding. Nicely spaced apart to avoid any pre-ceremony encounters, you can both relax and enjoy the morning in idyllic surrounds with everything you need.

New Extra Special Touches

The Ferry House offers unique extras that can be included in your wedding package, such as a luxury photo booth and an audio guestbook. Audio guest books are one of my favourite additions to weddings this year: you’ll have the loveliest messages to listen to over and over, from grandparents, parents and all of your favourite people. Some will be sentimental, others will be cheeky – all will give you a really special memory of your favourite people in the world, to keep and treasure forever.

Other special touches at The Ferry House include marshmallow toasting around an evening fire pit, special vintage drinks carts, alcohol favours and for those of you who want to make an entrance – a statement arrival on The Ferry House’s own vintage tractor!

Twilight and Intimate celebrations

For those seeking a twilight ceremony or a more intimate celebration for 2-30 guests, The Ferry House is the perfect venue. Their flexibility allows you to enjoy a relaxed day before exchanging vows after 4pm, transitioning seamlessly into an evening reception. The soft daylight and estuary views make twilight weddings incredibly romantic. Without a formal sit-down meal, you can plan a laid back celebration. Their intimate packages offer the opportunity to create a bespoke wedding day, unique to you, focusing on the elements of your big day which are important. Plan a full day intimate gathering or, for an even more relaxed setting without any of the formalities, opt for an intimate twilight celebration.

For any couples searching for a last-minute wedding, The Ferry House could be your perfect venue! Whether planning a romantic elopement or a celebration with all your loved ones, their award-winning team and fabulous wedding packages ensure your day is just as special as those planned years in advance.

Wedding showcase at The Ferry House: Saturday 10th August 2024

The Ferry House regularly hosts showcase days for newly engaged couples to book a viewing or simply pop in for a look around. If you can’t wait, take a virtual tour to capture the magic and passion that make The Ferry House one of Kent’s finest barn wedding venues.

Mark your calendar for their summer showcase on Saturday 10th August from 11am-3pm. Idyllic & Co will be styling the Oak Barn and Event Suite to inspire your wedding planning. Enjoy cake and canapes while you chat about your wedding day or book a tour in advance.
