A beautiful, elegant and traditional wedding for today – and this truly is special. Charlotte and Adam are a stunning couple and their day feels tranquil and joyful – a laid back and graceful wedding. Their review for luxury wedding photographer Damien Vickers, who’s based in Cambridge, says more than I ever could about the images, which are perfection. I love that Charlotte and Adam’s ceremony was at 5pm – which worked wonderfully for the light in their wedding photos and is a really lovely time for a wedding, adding to the sense of serenity of their day.
I’ve been singing ‘Bring me Sunshine’ as I write today’s blog because beautiful bride Laura walked in to her Grandad’s favourite song (and it’s totally stuck in my head now!) This is a gorgeous day with lovely personal touches, full of love and stunning florals. I adore the cat cake topper, and the images are absolutely stunning. They’re by Cambridgeshire wedding photographers Sky Photography.

A stunning late summer wedding with incredible florals! Sharing real couples’ weddings is our favourite thing at English Wedding, and this gorgeous pair had the most amazing day! Sam’s beautiful in an Evelie dress and Jamie looks great in a custom made suit. The happy couple celebrated at Longstowe Hall in Cambridge and give a glowing review for their wedding photographer Damien Vickers!

Hello you lovely people!
Have you had a wonderful weekend? I do hope so. I’ve been teaching calligraphy so I’m having a slow Monday, picking out the things I love most from the top of my to do list, and saving the rest for tomorrow! And very happily for a Monday morning, I have some cakes to share with you… on our screens if not in person! (I wish I had cake!) This month we’ve had some brilliant wedding businesses join us, and today I’m thrilled to be welcoming Amber’s Bakes and Cakes to English Wedding.
