A glorious sunny wedding with a background of real cherry blossom for gorgeous couple Suzy & Jordan! We don’t get nearly enough weddings from the Isle of Wight so it’s a treat to share such a special day on the blog. Beautiful images by SJ Jones Photography, and a wonderful write up with lots of lovely supplier recommendations from Suzy!

Sometimes a wedding is so full of joy it just makes me grin. I’m beaming at my screen today as I share Emily & Jon’s wedding all the way from sunny Cornwall. This gorgeous pair chose a stunning venue overlooking the sea. Even their ceremony room had incredible ocean views. Images are by lovely Hannah Timm Photography, who gets a lovely review from the happy couple. As always, lots more on our insta @englishweddingblog!

We’re starting the week with a gorgeous and really personal wedding from East Sussex. Lovely couple Lizzie & Leo were married in Rye, and chose Kent wedding photographer Howling Basset to capture their day. The venue is Rye Creative Centre, and the details are stunning, from Lizzie’s Freda Bennet dress to the branches hanging from the ceiling and the artwork on the walls. A beautiful wedding day we just know you’ll love!

Fans of TV comedian Rob J Madin will enjoy a new “Wedding Speech Menu” he’s put together for Travelodge. Making a speech at a wedding can be brilliant or quite stressful, depending how comfortable you are with public speaking. We’ve published a lot of advice about wedding speeches in the past and I’d love to know what you make of these quick-fire templates.
