What wedding blogs do best: simple, beautiful, achievable, REAL weddings (featuring you!)

The latest trend in weddings is definitely complaining about everything on instagram. So – I’m going to do it here, haha. I keep seeing reels asking what happened to the good old days, when we could all post beautiful images, and people would stop to look at them, enjoy the moment and drop a friendly comment. (I miss those days and find it so hard to believe people are out there autoscrolling now!)

Here’s the thing. People are asking why no one is out there just sharing photography, heartfelt moments, and love. And I’m sticking my virtual hand up like the good girl at the front of the class bursting with an answer for teacher.
We’re here. Wedding blogs are carrying that banner, high and proud.

But wedding bloggers do need help.
We need photographers (and planners, and couples) to submit real weddings to our platforms.
Because this IS valuable. It has meaning: not just that we can continue to share things that are simply beautiful on instagram.

But also, that we can continue to write blog posts about real weddings, where we ask couples to share their amazing photographer and wedding supplier reviews. Where they can relive their day in words, share what made their wedding special and personal.

And guess what? (Do I sound like an AI bot? Every so often I worry that I do!) But guess what – it’s so valuable for your wedding business too. Having published features on wedding blogs signals that your brand is trustworthy. It shows that the media love your work – and that’s important for your wedding business SEO and GEO.
