Stunning wedding style inspiration from two of our lovely English Wedding members. We knew when Stockton House got together with Nicola Gough Photography magic would happen. But this, oh this is a whole other level of beautiful. The setting is divine. The images are glorious. The styling is exquisite… you’re going to LOVE this! The floral styling by Big Little Things is incredible (we’d feature these guys every. single. day!), Evelyn & Elliot‘s stationery fits perfectly. Rob & Rebecca look amazing in a Peter Posh suit and dress from My Little Wedding Shop, with Rebecca’s hair and makeup by Mrs Kassi Mac. Claire's signature

I love to share a positive story, and it’s fabulous to see something wonderful emerging after such a tough year. Many hospitality businesses have had a really tough 12 months, but the team at exciting new Shropshire wedding venue Stockton House have used the time to totally refurbish the Georgian building to create a unique and stylish venue ready for a wedding resurgence.

Stockton House will open for weddings in April 2022. Over the latest lockdown, couples have been arranging video calls and taking private virtual tours around the house and grounds. We’re thrilled to hear that Stockton’s diary is already filling up with wedding bookings for next year!

Caviar & Chips are the future of wedding dining – and I don’t say that lightly! They’re independent caterers creating bespoke menus for celebrations: and their unique approach is a breath of fresh air. Where traditional wedding venues will have a bunch of standard menus for you to choose from, Caviar & Chips have thrown tradition to the wind to give you all the choice in the world. You’ll literally begin with a blank sheet of paper – and alongside their chefs, together create a bespoke menu which is perfect for you and your guests. Whether your preference is stuffed courgette, lobster, or pheasant – these guys can create an incredible wedding dining experience especially for you!

Welcome to the new week, my lovelies. I hope you’ve had a relaxing weekend and a little sunshine! Today’s (pre-corona!) wedding shows how amazing a little DIY can look. Gorgeous couple – and these two are just stunning! – Jo & James styled their day beautifully with help from “an army of friends and family” – and the personal touches make it so very special. Jo’s dress is fabulous – it’s by Adrianna Papell and she bought it from TDR Bridal in Halesowen (who I’m very proud to say are English Wedding members!) She tells us all about her dress shopping experience a little further down, so do keep scrolling. So many beautiful photos full of ideas here – I hope you love this! Hey gorgeous! Are you feeling refreshed after the sunny weekend? I have some treats in store for you this week… and we’re starting today with a beautiful reminder that things WILL go back to normal and we WILL have parties and hugs and proper weddings again. I’m desperately hoping it’s soon – because this kind of loveliness is too special to miss. Lexi and Chris’s wedding had everything: an outdoor ceremony under an ancient tree with Chris’s military kit giving the occasion a certain gravitas… and Lexi is just STUNNING! They celebrated with a tipi reception and festival / fete inspired party afterwards, and the dancing went on until the early hours. Memories, hey? For now, let’s celebrate with this gorgeous pair.
