Mel is here to tell you how the look was put together, and how the team joined forces to create such a gorgeous wedding scene!

The concept of this shoot was English Country Garden with a modern twist, combining delicate pastel florals and natural features of a beautiful countryside barn.

A selected team of talented local suppliers joined forces to create these stunning images of countryside charm.

The Barn at Berkeley is a traditional Cotswold stone barn with an impressive space to allow us to create our vision. The beautiful courtyard was perfect for some outdoor photos when the sun finally came out for us!

The three main elements to the shoot were the romantic candlelit ceremony, the on-trend wedding cake and an impressive tablescape.

Our photographer, Alicia from Weddings by Alicia Victoria knew exactly what she needed to do to create the most beautiful collection of images. Alicia’s direction, imagination and talent delivered everything we had imagined and more.

Garland bases were provided by Cotswold Wedding Co and have been added to with an incredible array of seasonal blooms by our incredible florist, Foxy Buds, allowing couples to see just how well these two elements can work together when combined.

The beautiful cake which was provided by Vanilla Pod Bakery has been a real show-stopper for this shoot, with the gorgeous delicate detail of dried flowers surrounding it.

The tablescape looked very impressive with the stunning florals alongside beautiful glassware and gold cutlery provided by Vintage Gold China.

The stationery introduced a modern twist with its curved edging and soft colours to match our palette. Bella Peach Creative provided menu cards and place names that complimented the tables beautifully.

Our bride looked stunning in an elegant dress provided by Gatehouse Brides, which was complimented by the soft and natural makeup by Sophie Wylie.

Tracey Pallari showed us that even with shorter hair she can create an incredible soft curl updo which looked beautiful. Delicate, stylish and luxurious jewellery and hair accessories provided by Nicholls Jewellery then finished the look.

Our shoot included some fun extras to give couples ideas on other elements they can add to their day including a phone box by Platinum Music Events where Alicia enjoyed creating a fun twist to the images.

Chloe Delmonte is an award-winning Fine-Art photographer with over 15 years experience shooting weddings in New York, London, Israel and Europe. Her style is effortlessly romantic, candid, intimate and gentle.

With a background in Fine Art, Chloe’s photographic process lends itself to capturing the magic of love and lovers, creating images that are a wash of painterly techniques with a delicate editorial edge. LWC was borne of these worlds colliding; culminating in a vibrant community of artists, makers, stylists, designers and lovers.

Suki and Chloe paid a visit to Brides do Good showroom in Earl’s court one afternoonand tried on a whole array of exquisite gowns.

Suki began thinking she wanted something minimal and maybe even casual, dared herself to try on some of the princess cut gowns and found herself falling in love with the grandeur of it all. Eventually we settled on a few more delicate pieces.

How special, to craft your own bridal look out of a whole wardrobe of designers and accessories, each handmade by women around the UK, fiancé at your side, enveloped by masses of divine floral arrangements, tailored and teased by floristry creatives The Flower Story.

London’s official directory of luxe independent British designers, brands, artists and vendors for the aesthetically inclined lovers. LWC serves as a home hub for makers and muses to synthesise their skillsets and share their art with the world. We strive to bring together creatives of every variety to offer and achieve something bigger than the sum of their parts. In short, one could call it, the poetics of community.

When it came to shoot day we styled the dresses with Suki’s fiancé Jonny and he was blown away by the beauty of it all. Jonny picked out his outfits on the day too. Having sent the LWC creatives his measurements in advance, we hand-selected a variety of looks we thought complementary to the gowns Suki was most drawn to.

With his platinum blonde hair and super suave stare, he perused the engagement rings Genevieve Schwartz Jewellery had brought with her and settled on a few pieces he liked.

“The pair were a pleasure to photograph, melting into one another as the rest of us watched on; captivated in the stillness of their sweet, tender, effervescent love.”

Today’s blog is a stunningly romantic styled photoshoot with the cutest couple and some fabulous styling touches, sent in by lovely Alaa from Blue Hours Photography. Check out the full supplier list just below!

The photoshoot took place at Woodmancote Place, West Sussex, a glorious countryside Manor House and grounds. Our vision for this editorial gathered some of West Sussex’s most talented vendors to create a dreamy scene of glamour and romance of a small scale wedding party. This editorial is edgy, charming, and breathtaking, with a pop of the colour magenta.

Grace wears 2 different styles of wedding dresses. The first one is long and gorgeous with flower details and a nude pink tint dress lining. The second dress is short and sparkly – perfect for party vibes! The designer of both dresses is Velvet Birdcage.

Jason’s green and black suit by Twisted Tailor provided a bold feel that complemented our colour scheme.

Divine, artfully arranged blooms by Florian Hove set the stage for an unforgettable reception table set up.

Our colour is inspired by the colour of the year magenta paired with green shades from nature. The hot pink wedding shoes were especially chosen to complement the beautiful dresses and also add colour to the bride’s outfit. The stationery was really spectacular with well chosen papers and colours, all the calligraphy was hand drawn by the very talented The Oxford Calligrapher.

This feature is the perfect fit for a couple seeking a wedding with spacious grounds, gorgeous manor as a backdrop and a pop of colour tying it all together. We also included bridesmaids, groomsmen and a celebrant as we were aiming for a small intimate wedding set up.

Let’s begin the week with something beautiful… a classy and elegant styled photoshoot from Norwood Park. The colours are sublime, the textures are just perfect. We’re in love with the soft fabrics and the table styling… and that’s just for starters!

This is gorgeous inspiration from a lovely bunch of Nottinghamshire wedding suppliers, and we hope you love it as much as we do! More on our insta…

words by Emily Jayne Weddings

Norwood park is a country estate, nestled in the Nottinghamshire countryside. A place ideal for weddings wishing to combine grandeur and a classic quintessential English backdrop.

When Laura and Emily began organising this styled shoot they wanted to bring together classic and timeless elements pairing the Morgan 110 car with chic modern lines of the Peter Posh black tuxedo.

The show stopper moment of this shoot is the minimalist high neck crushed satin Hera Couture dress from Bridal Warwickshire. A dress that screams luxury, effortless elegance and impeccable tailoring.

The exterior of Norwood park lent itself to this vision with the Georgian windows and oversized white front door.

The styling and accessories all had their part to play and were chosen carefully. The shoes by Freya Rose London hinted to the something blue and Hermione Harbutts stand out hair band was the perfect switch for an “evening look”! Deciding to capture this in direct flash photography showed off the fun a couple can have on their wedding day.

Aine and Tom are a real couple, with their love for music bringing them together. They travel all over the country busking in local towns. When they were asked to model in the shoot they were overjoyed and despite the forecast of snow they still made the long trip to us. Their chemistry and connection is at the forefront of these images and they made the entire shoot as natural and real as possible.

Throughout the shoot we also wished to bring textured elements and a pop of colour. This was mainly through the stunning florals created by Flowers in the Wild. The blousy bouquet gave movement to the photographs and the texture of the poppys included were definitely a wow moment!

The gallery at Norwood park brings stunning natural light, impressive floor to ceiling mirrors and grand gold chandeliers. We decided to style this with a single long banqueting table, continuing the beautiful florals through the middle in bowls and stoneware jars.

The table was styled by Rustic Rose events. Using varying heights in candles, textures through glass candle holders and hand torn wild flower stationery by Paige & Co, the styling brought a prettiness to the shoot, with blush pinks and nude tones.

Overall, the shoot encompassed elegance, timelessness and an element of fun. We enjoyed every moment of creating this shoot and seeing our ideas come to life in both of our photographs is a great feeling!

Something breathtakingly beautiful to take you into the weekend… a dreamy colour palette and adorable couple, and all the Italian vibes you could ever wish for. More on instagram…. have the most wonderful weekend everyone!

My inspiration behind this shoot was to showcase a fusion Anglo-Indian wedding with a traditional English civil wedding style, alongside incorporating Indian cultural elements into the design.

The shoot predominantly took place at the Castle’s lakeside Loggia and in their gorgeous Italian gardens and the groom and bride Raj and Jade are a real couple.

I wanted to make the shoot joyful, fun and vibrant, yet romantic with some personal touches. There were meaningful and personalised elements in the styling as I am so passionate about ensuring a couple’s personality shines through every element of their wedding day. For instance, I incorporated personalised velvet embroidered ribbons, by The Embroidered Napkin Company, on each place setting with the initial of each guest, and the table name was named after a place in India which holds a special place in the couple’s hearts. The Ester & Erik taper candles also had hand calligraphy personalised, romantic sayings on them from the wonderfully talented Beeta Taylor-Sadeghi.

Indian weddings are typically rich in colour so, to demonstrate this, I used a colour palette of blush and dusty pink tones with pops of bright berry/ burgundy and paired it all with gold to add a sense of luxury. The gorgeous tableware by The Baileys Tableware Company included simple white charger plates with a gold rim, gold cutlery and beautiful pink glassware in different styles and textures. I also opted for vibrant pink chairs by the Little Wedding Warehouse and a soft pink tablecloth and blush pink napkins by Just 4 Linen. The wedding sign by The Friendly Paper Co really added that depth of colour with the block of deep berry.

India from Thistle & String provided the beautiful flowers for the shoot – the table centrepieces, the bridal bouquet, groom’s buttonhole and also the gorgeous pillar arrangements. She kept the arrangements mostly pink tones, but with the added vibrant pop of berry throughout.

I also had photos of Jade and Raj holding brightly coloured smoke cannons to add a colour pop to the photos and to portray that sense of fun and joy.

The Indian influence is demonstrated through the use of a stunning intricate henna/ mehndi pattern which is seen in the design of the stationery by the wonderful Ananya Cards and also the 3 tier wedding cake, which is by Meera Makes.

Jade’s dress was Alessandra by Maggie Sottero which is from the Pantiles Bride and is a real fairy-tale gown with a delicate lace design. She paired it with drop gold statement earrings and a glitzy hair accessory to incorporate an element of Indian culture to her look.
