To start your week on what’s a drizzly day in the Lake District… we bring you a wonderful, elegant photoshoot from beautiful Buckinghamshire. Huge thanks to lovely Chloe Bolam and the amazing team who created this stunning wedding setup in such an iconic venue! And of course, it is wonderful to see an absolutely breathtaking bride with curves, glowing and absolutely gorgeous with her man – I’m proud to be sharing this with you today. I hope you love it too!

One of the most iconic venues in Buckinghamshire, Stowe House is the perfect place to draw wedding inspiration. A stunning, 18th Century Mansion surrounded by 880 acres of National Trust gardens, the views really are incredible in every direction. The interior is so stunning you don’t even need your own decor; with painted walls, gold ceilings and accents, and sparkling chandeliers. There are so many stunning backgrounds and unique photo opportunities.

Captured and co-planned by Chloe Bolam, a UK wedding photographer, this shoot was primarily inspired by the venue and the season. With beautiful pinks and gorgeous florals from The Flower Boutique MK, we wanted to inspire with a luxury Spring theme.

With a ceremony space set up in the iconic Marble Hall, it’s simply breathtaking with its unique oval shape, marble columns and carved ceilings.

A reception and dining area was created in the Music Room, with its beautiful wall paintings and stunning views of the grounds. We used white linen and chair drapes to maintain brightness in the room and not distract from the incredible interior.

With florals on every table, gold-rimmed plates and blush pink napkins from The Knotted Napkin Co, we created a delicate and fresh Spring theme. Also on display was the incredible cake created by Grace & Cake, with hand-crafted sugar flowers and ruffles.

Delicate, hand-made stationery by Paige & Co was placed on every table, with a gorgeous sign welcoming the guests. The invitation suite was so dreamy, with stunning pinks, gold accents and hand-torn edges.

Our Bride had stunning hair and makeup by Holly Edmonds Hair & Laura Carroll Makeup Artistry, topped off with accessories from Cassie M Bridal Accessories. She wore a gorgeous lace gown with detachable puff sleeves – showing how you can have two different ‘looks’ without having to buy a second dress. To complete this classy look, she wore gorgeous ‘Harlow’ Bella Belle shoes.

The groom wore a classic black tie suit from House of Cavani, tying in to the luxury feel at this stunning venue.

What an incredible place for a wedding!

This styled photoshoot is a dream to share with you! It’s a lovely reminder for me of all the fabulous creatives who work so hard together to bring weddings to life, and was submitted by lovely Cambridgeshire makeup artist Becky at Legendary Makeup. I was so pleased to see English Wedding member Amber’s Bakes and Cakes in the list of suppliers – Amber’s cakes are just stunning (more wedding cake goodness here!)

There’s a full supplier list below.

Becky has done a lovely write up of this shoot, so I will leave you with her to explain the look – enjoy!

P.S. There’ll be more on our insta through the day!

I was recommended Fulbourn Lodge by a friend so went to visit whilst planning the shoot last year – I was not disappointed! It is a beautiful timber frame barn with lots of character and a gorgeous outdoor area with stunning views. I wanted something that represented my personal makeup style- Chic, modern glamour and the all female team was chosen with that in mind. Jess from @copperandbloomweddings has a great eye for modern-Luxe design and, with @ellysflowerstudio and her glamorous floral display, totally nailed the brief! The shots in the incredible classic car from Castrol Classic Oils are absolutely amazing!

As the makeup artist I wanted a big focus to be on the bride’s makeup and hair, so decided on a statement smoky wing with my staple wispy lashes, and a flawless glowy complexion. @piggyrose_beauty gave the bride chic Hollywood hair of dreams- I couldn’t have asked for a better hairstylist!

Michelle @lilyfrancisbridal was so knowledgeable about what would work for the style of the shoot. We chose a simple, sleek style to complement the sleek theme. I met photographer @alexandra_weddings at a wedding fair in Madingley and we hit it off straight away. I was so impressed with her portfolio I had to ask her to do a shoot with me. I was thrilled when she asked @carolineacasterphotography to assist on the shoot, we’d worked together previously and I was so happy to have her bubbly personality around.

This dreamy, rustic-luxe wedding editorial shoot offers charming, French vibes set in the beautiful English countryside.

The shoot took place in the gorgeous Barn Wedding Venue at Caswell House and was captured by Tanya Flanagan Photography in her romantic, fine art style. The day was planned by me, Mel, from Your Story Events, along with Lauren Daisy, our Stationery Designer.

We wanted to illustrate how luxe-styled weddings can absolutely work in rustic venues. Achieving our vision by using soft palettes of neutral, pastel blues and soft lilacs, styled with elegant tableware, textured linen and padded Louis-style chairs. For the stationery, Lauren created a bespoke Caswell House Collection with a unique venue drawing to capture the location’s essence. The tableware was supplied by Wren Ark, while Northfields provided the linen.

The flowers by Blue & Boheme were stunning; overflowing meadow arrangements were used for both the ceremony and wedding breakfast, and tied in beautifully with the look of the shoot; adding to the authentic rustic, farmhouse vibe. The table centrepieces consisted of pretty bud vases with tall dining candles to create a romantic glow. Whilst the Barn provided a wonderful backdrop of light stone, which meant the colour palette complemented perfectly. A magnificent cake was designed by the Pretty Cake Company, with beautiful colour and textures for an elegant finish.

Our real-life model couple, Beki and George, looked flawless. Our elegant bride wore a strapless dress from Butterfly Bridal Boutique, while delicate jewellery and shoes completed Beki’s look – provided by Fiona Lucy and Harriet Wilde. Danielle from Pinned with love Hair styled Beki’s romantic updo and the bridal make-up by Beth Sell Make-up Artist.

George dressed in a blue tweed jacket and suit from Dragonfly Menswear to complement the rest of the shoot. The wedding celebrant, Meg Senior Ceremonies, conducted the ceremony in a coordinating outfit and brought her fun energy to the day. Finally, the shoot included Dita Bowen capturing the gorgeous day on video for us all to enjoy.

“A wedding proposal found hidden in a fortune cookie is the inspiration for a gourmet and romantic wedding photoshoot.

A wine castle dating from 1788, the Château de Taradel is located in the town of Taradeau in the South of France. This castle is a little gem in the heart of the Var because it has never been photographed before. During her research, Anaïs, was lucky enough to find this castle to host the photoshoot “Winter Romance in a French Castle”.

Located on a 25 hectare plot, this unusual castle offers 8 rooms to welcome your guests during a wedding. In the heart of the Var, in the Provence Alpes Côte d’Azur region, this castle is surrounded by vineyards famous for the best quality Rosé wine.

The main idea of this inspiration shoot is to show that more and more UK couples are looking for exclusive places for micro weddings abroad.

Accompanied by Carole, ceremony officiant (Entre nous), we created a custom-made ceremony with unique details including the Tibetan singing bowl.

The design for the photoshoot was entrusted to Nadège from Pièces Uniques, the key words being a winter and gourmet atmosphere. With Niko Floral Factory, they created a custom-made set around the colors green, red and white. A reminder of the approach of the holidays where red finds all its importance to raise the tones of winter.

The tableware, glassware and cutlery were all found and selected by Pièces Uniques. The tableware is antique, as if it came straight out of our grandmothers’ dresser, which is totally in keeping with the Château de Taradel.

The stationery was created by Virginie from Encres et Nuances, known for the quality of her high quality work and her calligraphy. She realized a totally custom-made stationery suite with winter colours and sprigs of fir.

It was clearly important to have gourmet elements to match our theme. We selected Pauline from Entre Nous Cake Factory, who made various sweet pieces and a sumptuous wedding cake.

The beautiful images are by talented fine art wedding photographer Sylvia Calmet. For us, it was important to choose a photographer who knew how to create indelible memories for our bride and groom and who knew the English style we were looking for in this shoot. Sylvia formed an excellent team with Manon Valle who created a teaser of this beautiful day so that the location and the different moments of the day are highlighted.

Romane’s dress was created by talented stylist Aude Lauzac. With her experience in the houses of Chanel & Lacroix, she was able to imagine the dress in a winter style, enhanced by a bolero in fake fur. Line Beauty Make Up Artist did the bride’s makeup in a very elegant way and highlighted the mouth. Hair was done by Haingo from Coiff’Event 83, well known in our area for her experience and quality of work.

Loïc is dressed in a blue tuxedo from Elegance Tailor, known in the Var for his way of dressing men in a chic way.

For the jewellery, we worked with a renowned artisan jeweler from Aix-en-Provence, Les Alchimistes, who has been creating jewellery for many years.

If you’d like to spend your Monday with proper grin on your face, we’re here to help! Today’s gorgeous editorial photoshoot has a fun energy and a brilliant sense of humour. It brings together a bunch of Dorset wedding suppliers who share the same playfulness as well as being super talented in what they do! Huge thanks to lovely Emily for sending in this very mischievous styled shoot from early autumn – complete with goats! We hope you LOVE it!

“A few months ago, I was looking for a fun birthday treat for my Partner’s Mum, and I stumbled across The Ranch who offers goat walking through the Weymouth countryside. After chatting to the owners, I discovered that they had just started offering Goat Walking packages for weddings! Of course, I had to do a shoot, who wouldn’t jump at that opportunity?

As well as being a fun (and slightly chaotic) photoshoot, I wanted it to celebrate local wedding suppliers who brought that same fun energy.

Bridal Reloved is based 15 minutes away from the Ranch in Dorchester, and has a fantastic collection of preloved gowns and really celebrates their brides.

Floral Couture By Jay is an exceptionally talented and skilled florist, even his shop window has become its own celebrity in Weymouth with Jay’s creativity on display for anyone who walks past.

Kirsten MUA is a talented artist, and regularly works on films and television, so I knew her creativity would be great for this shoot.

Even our model, Tegen, is a singer, aerial acrobatic, and fire eater, who is available for weddings.

I, Lotus Photography, am based down the road in Bournemouth and have gained a reputation for fun authentic photos, as well as a well-known love for the crazier-styled shoots.

As this shoot was about community, I decided to bring on a Second Shooter for this shoot, Hollyhock Photography. Holly’s images are not featured in this gallery, but trust me, she’s a fantastic photographer and was brilliant on the day helping with the chaos.

And as you can imagine, the animals are the true stars of the show!
