Isn’t it cold this week?! I’ve gotten so used to all the glorious sunshine I’m having to layer up in jumpers again until we get a second wave of SUMMER! But in the meantime I’ve this glorious August wedding for you, full of sunny tropical florals and vibrant colours, with images by lovely English Wedding member Tara at Pudding & Plum Photography. Alex and Pete’s day is wonderful with some fabulous styling touches, and still brilliantly real and down to earth. The gorgeous happy couple celebrated their day at their family home, with a marquee reception and lots of lovely personal touches.

Hey lovelies, how are you feeling after yesterday’s update? For me #stayathome still seems like the only possible way we can keep our loved ones safe – patience is the way to get there. Anyway… I have the loveliest wedding to share with you today. It’s a treat to be able to share these little reminders of ‘normal’ life: and Emma & Giles’s day had so many beautiful moments that make me smile. Their wedding style is classic and timeless, with some pretty personal touches (the little heather place settings are so cute!) and glorious images by our friends at Evolve Photography in Devon.

I bloody love this wedding – it’s full of love and laughter and FUN and hugs. There are belly laughs, there are beautiful styling touches. The setting is fabulous and the story of the day makes me smile. Oh, and Nicola and Alex are the most gorgeous couple! This is exactly how I imagine weddings after lockdown to be: the most amazing celebrations full of glorious contact and friendship and happiness. And the photos by super lovely (and major talented) Yorkshire wedding photographer John Hope tell the story of Nicola and Alex’s day beautifully.

In these crazy, scary times, we’re doing everything we possibly can to keep your screens full of beautiful wedding ideas, and to help support all of the wedding photographers and other UK wedding suppliers to shine online and fill their diaries for 2021 and beyond. While weddings are going to be thin on the ground this summer, we’re really keen to share YOUR best bits from 2019 – so whether you’re a wedding stylist with a shoot to share, or a photographer with a real wedding you’d like us to blog, please get in touch!

Welcome to May, lovelies. I thought we’d kick off the month with a truly enchanting wedding to lift our spirits. Valerie and David’s May wedding is unique and beautifully memorable, with lilac as the main wedding colour inspired by their favourite flower wisteria, and yellow accents for bright and cheerful contrast and sunshine. Coming from Cambridge and Southern Ukraine, David and Valerie’s day combines their little world in creative ways, with Ukrainian delicacies and wedding games – oh, and the ‘stealing of the bride’ tradition! The look is very much a traditional English wedding, with beautiful sunshine and the most magical sunset over Richmond Park at the end of the day.
