A gorgeous summer wedding with colourful, vibrant flowers and lovely styling touches – all made by our stunning couple Hannah and Zak and their families. The venue is wonderful: a vineyard estate in North Somerset – Aldwick Estate has two beautifully converted barns and views of the rolling Mendip hills. Glorious images by Aldwick Estate wedding photographer Martin Dabek, who we’re proud to say is an English Wedding member.

Your wedding day will probably be the only the day the two of you will have where everyone you love is all together, so enjoy it as much as you can and don’t worry about anything, and that’s what we did, and we had the best day of our lives.

I do love a winter wedding. Seeing how couples incorporate lights and candles, and the bare branches and evergreen foliage we celebrate through the darker months – it makes weddings a little more special with all those wonderful styling touches. And then, of course, there’s the opportunity for incredible lighting in your photos.

As we come to the end of the year, we have some of our most beautiful weddings to share with you. I’ve been excited to publish Chris and Sarah’s day – the romance and love are just amazing, and the images that capture their day are outstanding. This is a London wedding which will stick in my mind for a long time to come for so many reasons. I really do hope you love it too. Claire's signature

A glorious wedding on a rainy day… and proof that rainy day weddings can make for the most stunning photographs and memories of your day! Katy and Ryan look fab – her dress from Ava Rose Hamilton is so incredibly beautiful and she looks amazing. I do love a groom in glasses – Ryan’s happiness absolutely shines and the pair are just gorgeous together. Do scroll down and read their English Wedding interview, as it’s a beauty! Huge thanks to lovely Heather Butterworth Photography for submitting this wonderful wedding to the blog. Happy Monday everyone! Claire's signature

Some of my absolute favourite things are happy can’t-stop-smiling couples, brilliant reviews for my favourite people, and discovering new wedding folks who just sound amazing. We have ALL of these things on the blog today thanks to lovely bride and groom Sarah and Tommy. They married at Holdenby House in Northamptonshire, and chose our friend and English Wedding member Damien Vickers Photography to capture their day. It’s an absolute beauty – do scroll all the way to the end, and check out some of the fantastic suppliers they recommend if you’re planning to get married in the Midlands or East of England!
