This is part two of the sassy London bridal shoot we fell in love with last week! (Check out part 1 here if you missed it)
We’re talking gorgeously modern, gently alternative, glamorous wedding styling with a luxe twist. And yup, all of those things fit together beautifully. A trouser two piece by Kate Edmondson Bridal, styling by Perfectly Planned 4 You, and simple, elegant florals from Catherine Short Floral Design – basically my dream styling team. Captured by our fave, Amanda Karen Photography – this is everything.
A joyful 2019 wedding with a traditional ceremony in a 600 year old church. Beautiful bride Anoushka wears a bespoke Mona Vora gown with lace detail and a stunning back. Ivy trails from a loose bouquet full of foliage with sea holly, salix (willow) and blue / grey leaves – the flowers and foliage are wonderfully different. An elegant tiered cake with gold accents captures the autumn vibe of the day – as do the fabulous images by lovely Jessica Grace Photography, who gets a fantastic review from our happy couple Laurie & Anoushka!

A wedding isn’t about finding THE dress and spending more on it than anything else. It’s not about the perfect colour palette, or about spending months crafting decorations or personal keepsakes for all of your guests. (Although all of those things can be fun and lovely if that’s what you choose to do!) But really, a wedding is ALL about love, and it’s about family, and joy, and celebration. It’s about sharing that moment when the two of you decided to take on the world together, for ever. And yes, you can do that with just the two of you, or in a micro wedding with just a handful of the people you love most of all in the world. Or you can share it with 50 people, or 500. Never listen to anyone who tells you what your wedding ‘should’ be – because all it needs to be is YOURS.
One year… for so many reasons, it’s hard to believe it’s been a full twelve months since our lovely couple Rebecca & Tom celebrated their wedding – literally, the last wedding before lockdown. They married on the 29th of February, 2020 – an elegant and glitzy wedding in London. Rebecca is stunning in a Nicole Milano dress, and Tom’s Charles Tyrwhitt suit is perfect for their black tie occasion. Their cake is a beauty; the stationery exquisite and florals divine (Rebecca’s bouquet featured in our ‘20 best bouquets‘ piece a couple of weeks ago!) – All images are by our friend and talented London wedding photographer Amanda Karen.
