UK wedding superbrand MOSS have been in touch with English Wedding to share the news that the classic tux is making an exciting comeback for weddings! A pretty stable trend in the US since forever, the wedding tux is a look I love, perfect for a city chic reception!
MOSS say, “While tuxedos have long been a popular choice for a variety of occasions – from black-tie events to red carpet appearances – this wedding season is seeing more couples embracing the classic look for their big day, often adding a contemporary twist.”
For the majority of couples, the wedding photographs are one of the most important parts of the day. Selecting the right photographer takes many hours of research, and we choose many parts of our wedding details for how they look. So how can we make the most of our wedding photographer and our photos on the day? Newcastle & North East wedding photographer Erika Tanith shares all her expert tips right here – and she’s wonderfully honest with her advice.
I’m often sent guest blogs full of alleged regrets, mistakes and ‘things we’d do differently‘ – but I’d never publish anything so glum and disheartening! Wedding planning should be a pleasure, and my aim at English Wedding is to help you enjoy the journey. So this morning I’ve grabbed one of those regretful press releases, given it a good shake upside down and come out with some cheerful and genuinely useful tips to help plan your weddings!
There’s probably a thousand things I don’t know about flying with a wedding dress, but these feel absolutely essential to share. Lovely Michelle from Elegante by Michelle J has kindly allowed me to share these tips with you. Michelle’s a destination wedding planning expert specialising in Italian weddings, and a sought after luxury UK wedding planner. She’s also – and I’m so proud to say this – a member of English Wedding.

Every year, I’m sent a list of the most instagrammable wedding venues in the UK, and I have to be honest about how this makes me feel. Choosing your wedding venue shouldn’t mean playing along to a social media popularity contest. So Blenheim Palace has most hashtags… it’s certainly not every couple’s cup of tea! While it’s nice to see the likes of stunning Tunnels Beaches and beautiful Askham Hall on the list, I take these rankings with a massive pinch of salt and a hearty dose of scepticism.
