This editorial styled shoot showcases the potential of Hencote’s new marquee option, demonstrating how thoughtful design and a vibrant colour palette can transform a blank canvas into a contemporary, romantic wedding setting. Set in Shrewsbury, surrounded by vineyards and Shropshire views, the shoot highlights the venue’s flexibility from ceremony through to reception.

Our vision was to present the marquee as the perfect blank canvas for couples to bring their ideas to life. We chose a bright, modern colour story – pinks, lilac, soft oranges, and yellows – that infused the setting with energy, romance, and a refreshing twist. Surrounded by vibrant foliage and golden vineyard rows, these colours popped effortlessly, bringing a playful, modern energy.

The reception setup inside the marquee was designed to feel warm, inviting, and full of character. Long rustic wooden tables were styled with abundant florals, soft linens, and vibrant place settings – proof that a marquee can feel luxurious and atmospheric while still embracing the landscape beyond its open sides.

A celebrant-led ceremony overlooking the vineyard captures the relaxed, intimate vibe of outdoor weddings at Hencote, while maintaining the same fresh, modern styling as seen in the wedding breakfast space.
