What timeless really means – Kieran & Will’s Malton wedding, with York Place Studios

3 months since I read it, an instagram post from a content creator is still at the back of my mind. She said “there’s no such thing as timeless“. I disagree totally – timelessness isn’t about styling: it’s real, it’s about emotion and being human, and we see it in weddings more than anywhere else. The little things that exist in our lives are timeless: joy, happy tears, bursts of laughter and the spark of connection as a couple’s eyes meet. There’s an awful lot of timelessness in Kieran and Will’s wedding, captured by the amazing York Place Studios and hosted at The Orangery at Settrington

Human beings have been celebrating love since forever. Love is timeless – as is every little gesture and feeling which is a part of being in love, and of being loved.

The interactions between Kieran and Will on their wedding day are magical.

The intimate moments and stories told by their wedding photographers combine artistry, emotional connection and humour as well as love.

The beauty in this means none of the images from this gorgeous wedding will date, and every memory will be treasured for generations.

Dominique and Liam at York Place Studios are world-renowned documentary wedding photographers, sharing thoughtful and fascinating insights into their documentary style and approach on their own website – I highly recommend spending some time reading about their work, including their words on anticipation in wedding photography, in the context of Kieran and Will’s wedding.

I had far too many amazing photos to choose from when I was blogging this wedding today, so I’ll share some of my absolute favourites on instagram @englishweddingblog – please don’t miss them!

There were so many stories to tell and moments to share – the calmness of the ceremony, the fabulous party atmosphere of a Scottish Indian fusion wedding and the celebrations into the night make this an epic story and an unforgettable day.

York Place Studios are based in London, photographing weddings throughout the UK and worldwide. See all the amazing venues they’ve worked at  on this fabulous Venues page of their website, or discover the meaning and value of documentary wedding photography here.
