Wedding planner Carlie’s love of destination weddings inspired the shoot’s French Country theme. After having her own destination wedding cancelled this summer, she wanted to create a shoot that demonstrated the possibility of creating a destination wedding here in the UK with clever styling and venue choices.

Carlie found the most perfect venue in Manor by the Lake which is situated in Cheltenham – just outside of the gorgeous Cotswolds. The beautiful stone buildings with Wisteria and Ivy sprawling over parts of the manor as well as the idyllic lake really set the scene for a French Country inspired shoot. It provided such a fantastic backdrop. The shoot’s concept was soft and elegant with a contemporary & luxe feel. The selected colour scheme of white and pale blue with delicate gold accents created an authentic French charm.
