I’m thinking dreamy escapism as we head for the weekend… is that okay with you lovelies? Let’s wish ourselves away from our tiers and our troubles for just a moment and imagine ourselves in the French hills. Although of course – this is English Wedding and our French vibes come all the way from the Cotswolds! Our lovely friend Hannah McClune has shared her beautiful images from a styled editorial shoot at Manor by the Lake. With a team of fabulous suppliers, this really is a dream wedding vibe and I hope you adore dreaming yourselves down those French country lanes with me!

Liz and Richard’s day couldn’t have been more perfect for the English Wedding Bible, with their afternoon tea followed by a trip on a red vintage bus to the beautiful Great House at Sonning! My favourite shots of their day are on page 132 of our digital magazine, but I simply had to show you some more on the blog!

Liz’s dress – from the Willowby by Watters collection – is absolutely beautiful, and she suits it so perfectly as though it was made for her. Richard in his Reiss suit is just as gorgeous as his bride, and their little family makes this one of the loveliest weddings I’ve seen recently.

Rachel & Gavin’s ceremony was under a gorgeous floral arch before celebrating the rest of their evening in a romantic barn lit by fairy lights. I adore all the handmade touches and I recommend you grab a cuppa before scrolling through the stunning images of their day – there are sooo many ideas here, you’ll love them!!

Rachel is absolutely beautiful – all the florals are stunning and the little touches and handmade ideas are just fabulous!! Personally I love the ‘engagement tour of Ireland’ idea – I’m definitely up for that! Please hit the Pinterest button and save these to your boards – you’ll be busy creating for sure!
