This classic styled wedding editorial felt perfect for a Sunday… the relaxed and elegant vibe, the gently sparkling gown and lush florals… While wedding trends change every year, there’s something so classic about an ivory colour scheme. It’s also one which works with every season, and can be blended with other more unique or quirky elements to make it truly yours. For example, for this wedding shoot the team added gold accents for a splash of opulence and green to keep things fresh and calm. Huge thanks to English Wedding member Lorna Richerby Photography for sending this beautiful feature our way. Modern intimate wedding styling inspiration from Slindon House, image credit Kelsie Scully (15)

I wanted the table to be full of flowers and decor which is an upcoming trend for 2021 ‘Grand-Millennium’. I wanted to empathize with texture and pattern but still keeping it modern and chic.

Today’s wedding inspiration is going to take your breath away. It has everything – all the gorgeous styling and romantic touches you could ever need. Huge thanks to lovely English Wedding member Tania from Hire Societies, who sent this loveliness our way! Do begin with the video – sound on, it’s really beautiful and something different to anything we’ve featured before. Then scroll through all the wonderful images…

Oh, and happy Sunday everyone!

I absolutely love this bridesmaid’s denim jacket! How cute though?!! It’s all part of the personalised embroidery service from luxury boutique Bridal Indulgence in Hampshire. Those swirls – it’s actual calligraphy on a denim jacket, for your wedding and beyond. GENIUS!

Brides have been customising little pieces of wedding attire for decades… a little embroidery on a keepsake hanky might have been a little ‘out there’ in the 1920s but now you can personalise pretty much anything you’ll wear on your wedding day! I love the idea of having your names in embroidery tucked away somewhere at the side of your wedding veil, or in the lining of a bridal jacket … and those denims just totally have my heart!

The nervous excitement is just bursting from your heart: the person you love popped the question; you said YES!!! and you’re planning the celebration of a LIFETIME! There’s so much to think about – and What To Wear is a biggie. You only get to do this once: the time in your life where you can spend ten times as much on a dress as you EVER would in a normal year. The excitement of wearing a dress SO special that everyone will turn and look as you walk into a room. The pressure to get it right… and the joy of owning something so wonderful, special and beautiful as your very own wedding dress.
