Today’s wedding is an elegant and classy affair; mixing traditional styling with a modern twist at one al styling with a modern twist at one of Yorkshire’s favourite wedding venues:  The Mansion at Leeds Roundhay Park. Gorgeous couple Kat and Vincent were lucky to have a beautiful summer’s day for their wedding, and really made the most of the grounds of the park for their wedding photos.

Images are by York wedding photographer Amy Jordison, who gets a glowing review from the couple in their English Wedding Interview below! Watch out for a stunning Essense of Australia dress (from Ava Rose Hamilton), fabulous florals by NC Floral Designs and that wonderful cake from Zoe’s Fancy Cakes.

A black tie wedding… the most amazing boho dress covered in delicate sparkles… and more fun and laughter and PARTYING than you’d think you could fit into one day. This wedding – as they always are when our friends and sponsors at York Place Studios are involved – is an absolute blast of beautiful and playful, and I LOVE it.

The Normans venue is a charming, rustic space on a working farm just outside York. Covered in twinkling fairy lights, it’s welcoming and picture perfect inside and out. The courtyard is wonderful on a sunny day, and as evening sets guests can relax in the cow shed (snug) or grain shed (ultimate party space!) – take a look at http://thenormansweddings.co.uk

You can’t beat a wedding with a really fun story. Lovely Jade and Carl invited all of their guests to their children’s christening – and surprised them with an extra: they got MARRIED!! It makes the photos of the beginning of the day even more special, knowing that for most of the guests, the whole thing was a secret surprise!

Images are by lovely Fiona at Anoif Photography, who gets a fabulous review from Jade and Carl in their interview (at the end of the blog post). Photography was the couple’s biggest spend, and one they’re very glad of – for while this was very much a DIY wedding on a budget, the images will last a lifetime and I love the piece of family history they’ve captured for our lovely bride and groom!

Good morning beautiful! If you like flowers this is for YOU! Gorgeous, fun couple Steph and Rob’s beautifully relaxed Yorkshire wedding day was in two contrasting halves… with a city centre ceremony followed by a countryside reception full to the brim with country summer blooms! They chose a relaxed, vintage theme full of stunning summer flowers with such a gorgeous palette of colours – they’re perfect, and I just love everything about this wedding!

Hey there lovely! How are you getting on with the first week in April? It’s all lambs up here in the Lakes at the moment – they’re everywhere, and they’re SO cute!! I’m managing a pre-blogging walk in the countryside every morning, and loving it! So how’ve you enjoyed the blog so far this week? We began with Rachel & Steve’s gorgeous Iscoyd Park wedding, and yesterday was all about the florals at Almonry Barn… so today I thought a wonderfully warm autumn wedding would be a bit of a treat! Rob & Hannah were married at Wharfedale Grange, Yorkshire, in its very first year – it was still being built when they went to visit, but they trusted in the owner’s vision for this lovely venue, and Wharfedale turned out to be the perfect venue for their best day ever.
