The wedding industry moves fast – I find I’m giving my calligraphy website a complete overhaul at least every couple of years! Keeping up with trends in the media and keeping everything looking peachy is a fantastic challenge and a huge task for wedding suppliers in every field from photography to floral design, wedding venues and every other service you can think of!

I asked lovely Kayleigh, the fabulous wedding photographer behind Snapdragon Photography, about her rebrand earlier this year, and I loved the story behind it.

You know when things just ‘work out’ for you? This is how my rebrand happened – and I feel very very lucky!

This post is for all of you lovely folks making weddings happen.

It’s English Wedding’s mission to support suppliers in 2023 – to make our platforms all about SHOUTING FROM THE ROOFTOPS to tell couples how AMAZING you are!

(Sorry not sorry for shouting.)

I’m beginning to hear the very best of news from a few wedding photographers – that bookings for 2022 weddings are coming in. We almost have vaccines. We’re almost there… and after the toughest year EVER for our industry, I’m feeling positive that couples are going to start booking suppliers in January.

Weddings in 2021 – at least for the first half of the year – will be different. They’ll be few and far between at first. Then they’ll be more frequent but smaller – and I predict that by the height of the summer we’ll almost be back to normal. Where’s that little ‘phew’ emoji when you need him?

Hey lovely wedding supplier friends – I hope you’re all hanging in there. I’ve been email-chatting with a few of you, I know things are really really tough right now. For those of you with weddings in the last few weeks – I’m so happy you’re back out there, doing what you love. For those of you waiting for 2021, I hear you. I don’t mention it much, as I know lovely Annabel has it covered. (And I recommend her Facebook group for suppliers, if anyone’s not already in there.) Anyways – much is happening here at English Wedding HQ. I’d like to think that as the blogger with a small wedding business I understand a little of how this is affecting everyone, on a personal level. (I’m still desperately trying to work out how to pivot…)
