I’ll always love Manchester: it’s a unique city with a fabulously urban culture, and today’s stunning wedding embraces the edgy, fashion side of Manchester in the most beautiful way imaginable. Gorgeous bride Jenna married Kris at Victoria Warehouse in August and I’m thrilled to be able to share their day with you.

“We didn’t have a theme, as we didn’t want to restrict ourselves. We wanted it to be very natural and simple and only things we loved. We chose to have lots of greenery as a contrast to the industrial venue. We had pops of white and gold throughout with balloons, spray painted jam jars and signage. Through chance the bridesmaids chose to have pink dresses and Kris chose a pink tie, so in the end everything worked well together.

Elise and Rajiv’s Caswell House wedding is perfect: elegant styling and classy touches make their day wonderfully pretty and perfect for the 15th century manor house. They make the most gorgeous couple, don’t you think? This is ever so beautiful and I know you’ll love it. Huge thanks to our lovely sponsor Carol Elizabeth Photography and to the stunning bride and groom for their words of wisdom and advice!

“We had a holiday theme with an asian twist. All our tables were named after South East Asian Islands and we also had Asian lounge music in the background. The reason for that was because we met in Malaysia and the start of our relationship was spent travelling in different places in South East Asia.

The title for today’s real wedding on the blog is thoroughly deserved. Breathtaking – in that the florals literally stopped me in my tracks, they’re so beautifully chosen and arranged by bride Donna. She has a wonderful instinct and talent with flowers – so get those Pinterest boards ready, because the vibrant blooms in today’s wedding are about to blow your mind!

Donna is beautiful and then some. With Nick by her side she’s absolutely radiant: they make the loveliest couple – they spent their wedding day smiling and their photos throughout the day are just divine, with some stunning shots over the Welsh hills.

Colour was important as I’m a designer and a florist. It was a flowery explosion of colour with glam rose gold accents in a country house. Flowers were the main decoration other than table plan, table runners etc we worked with the beautiful venue and embellished on top of it. Icing on the cake as I say. All the elements just worked perfectly.

Coombe Lodge in Blagdon is one of the loveliest wedding venues in Somerset – as impressive as any stately home on the outside, and beautiful on the inside too! Gemma and Will chose this perfect spot for their romantic summer wedding, and our lovely sponsor Sandy from Love In Focus to capture their day. Gemma is absolutely stunning and I know you’ll love all the magical moments from this classic English wedding.

Our venue was very classic and grand, which did not need much decorating at all, it was beautiful as it was with wall lined oak panelling and chandeliers. However finishing touches along with the flowers made it even more special. The main reception room was more of a blank canvas where we could make it more personal, along with grande chandeliers and an amazing views across Chew Valley.

I love this wedding – it’s beautiful, relaxed and so wonderfully summery! I can’t believe it was planned in less than 6 months! Tessa is so beautiful and wears her dress with the prettiest lace jacket for the ceremony, which she takes off for the reception to show off the lovely strapless style of the gown underneath.

The styling and special touches on the day make it even more special: I love the picnic baskets for the main meal – that’s genius for a marquee or picnic / festival inspired wedding! The chalkboard lettering is wonderful, the flowers are divine – and the pot plants adding extra splashes of green are a hint of one of 2018’s foremost wedding trends!

Today’s gorgeous bride and groom were married on the 17th of June in Chidham. The reception was held at Cut Mill, the groom’s grandparents house: it used to be a working mill hundreds of years ago and has been kept in the family ever since. It really is a beautiful location.

Nothing quite beats the warmth of a tipi wedding – and Sarah and Matthew used theirs as the focal point for a festival-style celebration on the family farm. The little touches and flowers are gorgeous; but the loveliest thing about today’s wedding is Sarah – she’s so beautiful in a blush pink gown which just suits the day perfectly (and is amazing for dancing in!)

We opted to have fairy lights within our tipi and we didn’t want to distract too much from how beautiful the tipi and more importantly, the view from the field was. We used lots of items from the farm including milk churns, troughs, tractor tyres and hay bales to add to the rustic farm feel. We were lucky to be able to find a tipi company for our bank holiday weekend in County Marquees East Anglia. They were great and also helped us with outdoor furniture sets, a bar front, outdoor fire bowls and were on hand with generators and mobile toilets should we have needed them

I just love today’s real wedding – a pretty marquee in a Herefordshire field, sublime florals and a wonderful atmosphere of love, family and pure joy! Beautiful Lucy looks stunning in her House of Vintage dress, and the handcrafted details and gorgeous contributions from friends and family make this one of my favourite summer weddings ever.

We basically had a field to start, so as you can imagine, it took a huge amount of effort and time to get it wedding event ready! One element that I was really desperate to incorporate was a decorated old trailer of dad’s. After some haggling and negotiation about which particular piece of machinery we would use, we filled a trailer with flowers, bunting and fairylights and put a ‘love’ sign in the centre, which one of my cousins who is a carpenter made. This could be then used as a DIY photo booth and also as something to play on for all of the children who were at our wedding!

I love Rachael & Darren’s wedding – the dress code of black tie for all the guys makes it super gorgeous and I adore the venue – such a perfect fit with the elegant styling of the day! Our stunning bride and handsome groom styled the venue with lush creamy white hydrangeas and roses, candles, sequined table runners and mirrors.

The overall look is fabulously done: it’s elegant and timeless, and the black tie dress code makes it look so chic and decadent – reminiscent of 1920s old Hollywood style! Colour accents are kept really simple with gold and blush styling touches perfectly complementing the glamorous look of the beautiful bride and groom.

We met Jen and Mel at our friend’s wedding at Christmas 2015, we were blown away by their professionalism, friendly personalities and we loved how our friend’s photographs looked. By chance I was at a wedding fair with my mum in the January and Memories and Milestones has a stall, they remembered me from the wedding and had our date available, we booked on the spot.

I’ve always said a wedding doesn’t have to be anything more than the two of you saying ‘I do’. Today’s feature celebrates the most romantic of weddings with Petra and Thomas on a quiet Jersey beach. I adore everything about their day: they’re both stunning; the bouquet is gorgeous – and our bride and groom just keep smiling the whole day long. Oh, and then they run into the sea together… and it just looks perfect!

Thomas and Petra hired lovely Sandy from Tern Events to help plan and style their day. Sandy was a huge help, sourcing suppliers she knows and trusts to create a perfectly memorable occasion for the bride and groom. Petra’s bouquet is divine – Clara from Wilde Thyme mixed soft, pretty colours and flowers which were mainly home grown on Jersey.

Sandy even arranged for Emma from Quints of Jersey to make up a lovely booklet and menu as a keepsake of the day – as it’s not always easy finding the right stationery for just the two of you to celebrate with!

Hey lovely! I hope you have some lovely bank holiday plans, and you’re making the most of the last day of the weekend!! We’re on our way back from a little Welsh adventure this afternoon, and I’m excited to get back to blogging this week (I have some gorgeous features lined up!) but first – an absolutely beautiful wedding from Gloucestershire which I know you will LOVE!!

Rebecca and Laurence’s wedding took place at St Peter & St Paul Church of Northleach followed by a marquee reception. This was a very relaxed wedding with a Pimms garden party, band, gorgeous venue decor and a cake made by the couple’s friends.

The flowers were a huge joy. My best friend Kate loves flowers and had helped out with another wedding, so she reassured me we could do it ourselves. The ladies who arranged our church flowers were incredibly helpful and kindly agreed to pick up some extra bunches and offered to condition them (very important and we couldn’t have done it otherwise). We ordered blue hydrangea, cornflowers, irises, pink roses and delphiniums and used a lot of greenery from our mums’ gardens. The Friday before it was all hands on deck, me, Kate and helpers making large arrangements and jam jar centrepieces while two more friends laid the tables. We used lavender and rosemary sprigs, freshly picked, on the napkins which gave a lovely scent.

Hannah’s wedding to Angus is so very pretty – the artistic styling touches are wonderful and give their day a unique look which I adore. The colour palette is fabulous, and I’ve fallen head over heels for their delicate floral arrangements. They married in Yorkshire back in June, and took their county as inspiration for the theme of their day. I love this!

We made all our wedding stationery. A very talented friend of ours had drawn a beautiful picture of us, which we soon adopted as our ‘wedding logo’. We used this when designing our invitations, order of service, table and place name cards, and more!

I researched online- I’d looked at a few different photographers’ websites, but saw Anna’s on Facebook and was really impressed. Her photos were of such a great quality and her prices were the most reasonable I’d found. I messaged her and she arranged to meet us to answer our questions, gather more information and to create a picture of how the photography would work on the day. We got on really well and we were so happy with what she was saying, after that meeting we booked her!

Sarah-Louise and Sam’s big day was a relaxed, country affair at Marks Hall Estate in Essex. I fell in love with their images, which perfectly capture the spirit of their celebrations and love. The brick walls and twinkling fairy lights are a beautiful backdrop for the reception; the gardens are breathtaking for portrait shots.

We were really lucky that our venue didn’t need a lot of styling. The venue spoke for itself really, it’s a beautiful coach house, exposed red brick inside with a really high ceiling and exposed beems. Lisa our wedding coordinator had organised fairy lights all over the ceiling. We had our table flowers done by Sophie Kim. I did a sweet table for the kids that were there too!

Try not to leave yourself too much to do on the day. Be happy to ask for help so you can just enjoy yourselves. Make sure you take a few minutes on your own as a couple to look around and really take it all in!
