Our midweek wedding is a blissful, breathtaking, glorious celebration of love at Nottingham’s Carriage Hall. Stephanie and Peter were married in April, which they chose as a time of new beginnings – and the perfect month to start their married life! The lovely couple always knew they wanted a humanist wedding ceremony: “Humanism celebrates the idea that we have one life to lead, so we need to live it in the here and now, that we need to make the most of life’s beauty and riches every day; it focuses on the goodness of humanity and community, family and friends; and the importance of love.

Sean & Charlotte’s Coombe Lodge wedding was relaxed, fun filled and full of love. Their theme of rustic romance in blush, cream and greens incorporated traditional touches: lace, hessian, lots of candles and lots of florals. Charlotte is stunning in an Essense of Australia dress, and Sean wears his military uniform – so today’s wedding will appeal to all of you lovelies who are looking for traditional, pretty and classic styling ideas for your day.

Join me this morning as a virtual guest at one of England’s most breathtaking wedding venues. Blenheim Palace is an impressive world heritage site, and a masterpiece of Baroque architecture. It’s also the place where our stunningly beautiful bride & handsome groom decided to say their vows in front of their nearest and dearest.

Wearing an elegant Suzanne Neville bridal gown, Kate carried peonies, sweet peas & roses down the aisle to meet her handsome husband to be. The cherry blossom was out in full force providing the most breathtaking backdrop to an already beautiful day! Kate, the youngest of 3 sisters was supported by her siblings who were both maids of honour, and one of whom had traveled from Australia to be there for her sister.

Today’s gorgeous couple chose an outstanding venue for their wedding weekend, styling their day with help from friends and family and choosing their suppliers carefully to create an amazing wedding day. Our lovely friend and Dorset wedding photographer Linus Moran Photography was at West Axnoller Farm to capture the day from beginning to end, and his photos are just wonderful. Michelle’s dress is stunning, and her review of bridal boutique The Wedding Dress Dorset makes me want to sing their praises from the rafters! This is a fabulous, elegant and classic spring wedding and I do hope you love it as much as I do.
