I love adventurous people, and couples who trust in their suppliers to create something wonderful. Richard and Kyra are both – and their Northamptonshire wedding is all the more beautiful for it. The super lovely couple chose Dodmoor House wedding photographers Sky Photography to capture their day – and it’s amazing. I’ve adored scrolling through every image, and I’ve saved some of my faves to share on instagram later too!
It’s ok to share a Christmas wedding in May, right? We’re about to fill your screens with oodles of sparkly joy from Georgia & Sean’s romantic Christmas wedding in Kent. The lovely pair were wed in December. Their wedding was elegant and romantic with natural styling touches. This one’s been sent in by our friends at The Ferry House. All of the fabulous images are by Chris Blackledge Photography. (As always, there’ll be more of our top favourites on instagram – @englishweddingblog)
Doesn’t it feel like we’re halfway into summer already? The sunshine always makes me happy, and having Holly and Thomas’s wedding on my screen today is taking summer vibes and my smile to a whole other level! This gorgeous pair married in August and chose lovely Isle of Wight wedding photographer SJ Jones Photography to capture their day at East Afton Farmhouse. They’ve written some fabulous reviews for their favourite suppliers so keep reading, and as always, more of my favourite photos on instagram @englishweddingblog – look out for the table plan, it’s amazing!

A curious question: does life stop for weddings? Should it? In some senses, a wedding day is utterly different from any other. Having all of your favourite people in one space, seeing them celebrating together, meeting each other for the first time perhaps, even shedding a tear or two – is huge.
The rollercoaster of emotions you might feel, from nervousness to overwhelm to wondering if your heart could ever be this full of joy.
That’s weddings.
But there’s even more than that. Life doesn’t stop for weddings.
I’m so thrilled to be sharing this super colourful, joyful wedding with you today. As well as the gorgeous photos by my friend Jaye, Lake District wedding photographer at Jaye Peg Photography, I’m really happy to have a long list of amazing supplier reviews from Shireen and Phil – starting, of course, with absolutely brilliant Jaye! This wedding has been a dream to scroll through this morning, and I hope you’ll adore it as much as I do. One last thing – Shireen added a beaming happy emoji to every supplier review which my website wouldn’t let me include… but they’re there in spirit, adding to the happiness!
