Holly from Entwine Weddings and photographer Dom Brenton put together this styled shoot to celebrate the English summer. It took place in early June, just as garden roses come into bloom, at the beautiful Montagu Arms Hotel, Beaulieu, in the heart of the New Forest. Their model bride Danielle also has the classic English rose complexion. And so the theme flowered.
Remember sunshine?! Today’s wedding is bursting with summer vibes, and comes from Devon’s glorious Rockbeare Manor. Meg is stunning in a beautiful dress from Brides of Chester; David’s suit is perfect for summertime in light grey with pale blue accents. A wonderfully elegant, beautifully captured Devon wedding with a stunning couple and the most adorable little page boy! Fallon and Daniel are a lovely bride and groom, whose smaller wedding is as wonderful as any big event – the magic comes from the glorious location and the LOVE that just shines from these two and their (frankly rather good looking, we think!) closest friends and family. This is epic! After being together for 33 years, Sandra & David tied the knot in 2020. “The pandemic actually made us get married, by thinking more of what really mattered. We never wanted a big wedding, so with limited guests this was perfect… I would say if anyone was planning to get married now just do it, everything happens for a reason. A big party can always be later.”
This one’s special. Every once in a while I’m sent a wedding which absolutely blows me away – the romance of it all, the couple, the photography and the styling – and it goes STRAIGHT into my secret favourite weddings folder, ready to share again at Christmas. And on that note… hello Laura & Rob! These two just smile all day long. Their (safely before covid) wedding is joyful, beautiful and deliciously elegant with stunning styling touches. And a little surprise – well, a big surprise – instead of a wedding car. It’s like the biggest alternative-to-a-wedding-car we’ve ever seen, and it’s extra wonderful because of the story behind it. Oh, and one of our fave photographers gets a glowing review from the happy couple: lovely Midlands wedding photographer J S Coates was a big part of Laura & Rob’s day, and his photos are just incredible.
