A classic, graceful and elegant English Wedding to begin the week – and I have to say I’m in love with the flowers from Georgie and Sean’s stunning day. Styling is elegant and pretty – summer vibes all the way because I’m not ready for autumn just yet! The images are just lovely, Georgie and Sean look amazing, and do watch out for their super cute cake topper! With heartfelt thanks to a lovely couple for their glowing supplier reviews, and to Zara Davis for all of the images we’re sharing here and on instagram @englishweddingblog today!

Unusually, let’s start today’s gorgeous wedding blog with a fun fact: Tony proposed to Kian after gifting her a sky dive for her birthday. He tandem jumped first at 15,000 feet and then Kian followed. As Kian landed Tony was on one knee with a gorgeous ring. He had a videographer jump from the plane with Kian and captured the whole thing on video!
The wedding day was possibly a less adrenaline-filled occasion, but full of heart and soul. With images beautifully captured by Lake District wedding photographer Mark Battista, the couple celebrated with their closest family, ending the evening in their wedding outfits and slippers playing board games and eating cheese in their cosy, intimate and charming country house venue. It sounds utterly perfect.
It’s been a lovely morning for me reading all about Emma and Tom’s wedding, which was a real family affair. From mum Joanne’s exquisite cake and flower skills, helped by Emma and family friend Sue, to Emma’s “something borrowed” diamond necklace and rings from uncle David and auntie Angela who own Spencer the Jeweller, family played a huge part in the day. Emma owns a candle business and guests were given beautifully scented soy candles as favours, and the same candles were lit around the venue, giving off a beautiful scent of lavender and bergamot.
A beautiful, elegant and traditional wedding for today – and this truly is special. Charlotte and Adam are a stunning couple and their day feels tranquil and joyful – a laid back and graceful wedding. Their review for luxury wedding photographer Damien Vickers, who’s based in Cambridge, says more than I ever could about the images, which are perfection. I love that Charlotte and Adam’s ceremony was at 5pm – which worked wonderfully for the light in their wedding photos and is a really lovely time for a wedding, adding to the sense of serenity of their day.
I love adventurous people, and couples who trust in their suppliers to create something wonderful. Richard and Kyra are both – and their Northamptonshire wedding is all the more beautiful for it. The super lovely couple chose Dodmoor House wedding photographers Sky Photography to capture their day – and it’s amazing. I’ve adored scrolling through every image, and I’ve saved some of my faves to share on instagram later too!
