So this wedding is pretty epic. I just know you’re going to love it – Claire and J-D make the coolest couple ever, and with the extraordinary creative contributions from family they put on a wedding which is everything. The flowers are glorious, Claire’s dress is stunning, J-D’s outfit is brilliant and inspired, and the photography exquisite. Grab a cuppa, snuggle down and enjoy this beauty of a summer wedding.

How did you choose your photographer?

We both knew we wanted natural, unposed shots – neither of us are at our best in posed, traditional photos. Our favourite photos are spontaneous and capture a moment. We spent an afternoon browsing Oxford wedding photographer websites looking for photos with this quality. We loved the photos in Dale’s portfolio. We arranged to meet him to make sure we felt relaxed. We had such a perfect morning meeting Dale that we booked immediately.

Just a couple of days before lockdown was announced, beautiful bride Jemma married her handsome man Antony at the Old Marylebone Town Hall. This is a really special day and I’m proud to be able to share it with you. There were just two witnesses, Jemma’s mother, the celebrant and their photographer Sarah. Because of coronavirus, sadly some guests were no longer able to attend.

The wedding day was very intimate but beautiful – Jemma got ready at an apartment beside the venue, the ceremony took place in the Westminster Room, they drank champagne, took photos and then headed off for an overnight stay at the Ritz. Jemma’s beautiful dress is from Monsoon Bridal. Antony told us they both loved their outfits, although this wasn’t the first dress Jemma had bought (it is absolutely stunning though! – I do love Monsoon’s collection: Jemma wears ‘Beatrice’ as though it was made for her) – Antony bought his stylish bespoke suit from an online tailor.

Louisa and Will’s August wedding was filled with sunflowers and rustic, elegant styling touches. I think it’s a perfect promise of summer to come – and I hope it lightens your heart a little this Friday morning. The venue is Lapstone Barn, and the day was full of love, laughter, friends, family – and freely flowing champagne! Grab a cuppa, snuggle for a moment and enjoy the virtual company of this gorgeous pair. All images are by Hannah K Photography, who gets a glowing review from Louisa and Will.

I had a recommendation from a friend who was unable to have Hannah as her wedding photographer. When we looked at her website we knew we had found the woman to capture our wedding day. We were drawn to the amazingly light bright and airy style she showcased on her website.

This beautiful eco wedding was held at Coed Hills in South Wales, a zero waste events space set over 180 acres of unspoilt ancient woodland. Laura & Ollie chose this unique wedding venue because of its rustic charm and flexibility to have the day they wanted.

Laura & Oliver's epic Coed Hills wedding, with Hannah Timm Photography (33)

Laura & Ollie run their own catering company and are well used to running events and the organisation and detailed planning that had gone into this wedding was amazing. They designed the menu and catered their own wedding breakfast, with Ollie doing much of the food prep in the days before the wedding. Laura and her Mum were very creative making the flower arrangements and the table details.

Laura & her girls stayed over in the rustic cottage on site which was great for bridal prep photographs and many of the guests stayed in the glamping pods on site. Coed has its very own stone circle which was perfect for couples portraits. This was a very relaxed wedding in a cosy space complete with roaring log fire, and many guests commented on the homely nature of the venue.

These two are the most adorable couple – beautiful and happy on their wedding day. Philippa is stunning in her 1920s style dress – and wonderfully honest about her experience of finding ‘the one’ when it comes to dress shopping. Their photographer was our lovely friend Grace Elizabeth, whose images are simply breathtaking. You will LOVE this! Have a magical weekend everyone! xxx

How did you choose your photographer?

Philippa’s sister-in-law is a photographer so she helped us understand what we were looking for. She managed to get us a shortlist of 20 or so photographers who were available on our Wedding Day which we went through and picked our favourites. Grace Elizabeth was the first one we got in touch with and within a couple of hours we’d spoken on the phone, decided she was definitely the one for us and booked her!

Why hello there you beautiful thing you! I am so excited to share today’s gloriously romantic wedding with you! Our gorgeous couple Rosie and Chris had chose to say their ‘I dos’ in a sunny woodland setting with an amazing atmosphere, at the beautiful Blaithwaite House in Cumbria. Their styling and theme was relaxed with outdoor themes including greenery, upcycled wood and the most magical personal touches. Blaithwaite is a beautiful estate set in 250 acres of Cumbrian countryside. Rosie and Chris were married in front of ‘Mary Jane’s Summer House’, a beautiful building from the Victorian era situated on a little island surrounded by water. They told me it’s an absolutely breathtaking setting for a wedding, and I couldn’t agree more – I just know you’ll love this!

So here’s an amazing boho English country house wedding to kick off February in fabulous style! Gorgeous and glam with pale yellow styling touches and eye-catching hand lettered backdrops, Francesca & Joe’s Mulberry House wedding sings of sunshine and celebration – and I just love it!

To create my vision, the venue needed enhancing. I wanted a very boho, whimsical, rustic feel and Starry Eyed Weddings delivered that for us!
Sacha at Starry Eyed Weddings did our flowers. What can I say – they were incredible, everyone has commented on them!! The flowers were very natural, wild and whimsical and better than I could have ever imagine. I mean we had a hanging display of flowers in the church which was spectacular and I’ve never seen anything like it before. I can’t recommend Starry Eyed Weddings more highly!

My best friend used Scott for her wedding and I really liked his photos and the video, the fact he had a drone, so I wanted the same.

… because you can’t beat a llama surprise, right?! Honestly, this wedding is everything. Glowing with newly wedded happy vibes, Moran and Danny celebrate their love at Ashdown Park. Their day is magical, breathtaking, beautifully designed and brilliantly captured by our friend and English Wedding member Damion Mower Photography. Morag’s dress is exquisite, unique and different; from the fabulous Needle & Thread. The venue is oh so special – Ashdown Park is in the Ashdown forest, believed to be the inspiration for the Hundred Acre Wood (home of Winnie the Pooh!) – and the converted chapel with its stained glass windows is so enchanting all Morag & Danny had to do was add flowers – which, it has to be said, are stunning!

“Our theme was loosely based on a Midsummer Nights Dream style, my dress, hair, bridesmaids and flowers were very ethereal and the original ceremony was going to take place in the Summer House by the lake. The tempestuous weather the night before moved the wedding inside but added a magical twist of excitement to the day.

Welcome to a rather special boho wedding inspiration feature, all the way from lovely Somerset. We’re talking Bianca Jagger-style bridal attire, sleek silhouettes and on-trend styling with a rustic but chic and fashion-forward aesthetic. Our bride is stunning in a two piece bridal jumpsuit from House of Ollichon and her groom looks amazing in a super stylish suit from Suave Owl. The setting is brilliantly styled, with twinkling fairy lights, copper accents and stunning floral arrangements by Flower Mouse Floristry. The use of twisted willow on the tables is so beautiful – the floral arrangements include peach and cream flowers, dark green foliage, pampas grass and peaches, with striking metallic copper accents.

Trestle tables and candle light give this wedding style a real warmth and welcoming feeling. The rustic ambiance with hessian and muslin textiles works beautifully. The locations around the venue include the old milking shed, and rustic antique cattle stalls, which have a countryside charm all of their own. Dairyhouse Farm has launched as a wedding venue this year, and looks a wonderful space for outdoor style ceremonies. Thank you to Emma from Beautiful Light Photography for sending this our way – I hope you love it as much as I do!

The floral styling is superb for today’s wedding – say hi to beautiful Laura & gorgeous Kevan who married at High Billinghurst Farm last summer. They were blessed with gloriously hot weather for their celebrations in the Sussex countryside – and while tipis were set up nearby, the temperatures meant their dream of a woodland wedding was destined to come true.

We’re taking a fascinating behind the scenes look at the wedding today, with lovely Kim at Bespoke and Beyond Weddings & Events. Kim’s story begins on the Thursday morning with the arrival of three giant hats from Beautiful World Tents. I’ll hand over to Kim who can tell you all about her vision for this stunning celebration, and how the wedding came together beautifully, creating a truly magical woodland wedding for Laura & Kevan.

Hey lovely! I’ve been blown away by the stunning wildflowers and relaxed, boho styling of Chris and Bex’s Devon wedding today. Once again we’re at the fabulous Colehayes Park in Bovey Tracey with their recommended photographer Warren from Howell Jones Photography. You’re going to adore all the floral prettiness – and this is an extra special day because the sunshine played out all day so even the meal was served in the gardens!

Bex and Chris chose a hot and sunny May day to get married – remember the crazy hot summer we had last year? This is pretty much where it all began! Beautiful bride Bex wears a divine boho wedding dress, light and floaty for the summer sunshine. The softly sparkling beaded belt and delicate lace cap sleeves are simply wonderful. Chris looks so handsome in a tailored grey suit with purple tie and pocket square. Sophisticated sunnies complete the outdoor groom look!
