Holly & Adam’s beautiful Wellington Barn wedding, with Greg Shingler Photography

Published by Claire Gould on

Today’s wedding is glorious: a ceremony in nature, surrounded by buttercups and grasslands. Wiltshire wedding photographer Greg Shingler captured the essence of Holly & Adam’s day beautifully. The groom and bride look amazing, the vibe is relaxed and utterly joyful, and the sun shone at the perfect moment!

Wedding photographer review

Greg is amazing! He captured everything we asked for whilst being so lovely to all of our guests. He knows exactly what he’s doing and he’s so easy to talk to.

Your best wedding moment or memory

We got married outdoors and the sun shone through just as we were announced husband and wife. We’ll never forget that!

Tell us anything you did differently – we love hearing about NEW traditions (or none at all!)

Holly walked down the aisle on her own (but surely lots of people do)!?

Wellington Barn – the most beautiful location in the rolling Wiltshire hills. The team are so lovely and the in house caterers ‘Epic’ are amazing!

Tell us a little about your outfits – both of you!

Adam picked his up the day before eek! His bow tie and pocket square were made by Holly. Holly wore a simple dress and recycled the hem into a hair bow.

We gifted guests with wildflower seed packets from Wildflower Favours, which included a donation to Buglife Charity. Buglife is the only charity in Europe devoted to the conservation of all invertebrates, and is actively working to save Britain’s rarest bugs, bees, butterflies, ants, worms, beetles and many more fascinating invertebrates.

The bridal party outfits were all handmade with deadstock fabric from my sister’s lovely business The New Craft House.

Entertainment

Thomas J Wilman played guitar and sang before, during, and after our ceremony. He sings and plays so beautifully and even turned up with five guitars and two harmonicas! He allowed us to hand pick every single song which made the day feel so personal to us. He truly is a gem and we are so grateful to him for gifting us with the most meaningful soundtrack to our day.

Cartwheel Ceilidh played our first dance song and evening ceilidh. They were so much fun and are all so so so talented! We loved having a very local band to the venue and we honestly cannot thank them enough for learning a new song and for giving us all sore feet the next day!
