I’m excited to share this lovely article from Kathrine Brenne, an experienced wedding planner at Amore Wedding Italy, who’s sharing her secrets to help you have an amazing destination wedding in Italy.
The most important thing to consider when choosing your wedding venue in Italy
Your choice of wedding venue can be simple. I always advise my couples to think about how they want guests to feel on their wedding day. That will provide the first step for a successful event. Do they want a rustic wedding in the countryside, an elegant affair in a historic villa, or something more informal by the sea? It’s important to make a list of priorities and to start exploring the various options which Italy can offer.
There’s probably a thousand things I don’t know about flying with a wedding dress, but these feel absolutely essential to share. Lovely Michelle from Elegante by Michelle J has kindly allowed me to share these tips with you. Michelle’s a destination wedding planning expert specialising in Italian weddings, and a sought after luxury UK wedding planner. She’s also – and I’m so proud to say this – a member of English Wedding.

This incredibly beautiful wedding in Italy brought friends and family together from all over the world. Already officially married in a civil ceremony in the UK, Anjali and Porus celebrated with all of their loved ones at Il Borro Estate in Italy. They booked True Blue Ceremonies to create a unique and personal ceremony, and chose top Italian wedding planner Elegante by Michelle J to plan their day.
“The wedding day itself was totally unique and we planned it so that it felt relaxed, informal and joyous for Anjali, Porus and their guests. Anjali was radiant in a short, sparkly feathered dress and striking pink heels, just another way of making the day feel more like ‘them’.” ~ Elegante by Michelle J
