Your choice of wedding venue can be simple. I always advise my couples to think about how they want guests to feel on their wedding day. That will provide the first step for a successful event. Do they want a rustic wedding in the countryside, an elegant affair in a historic villa, or something more informal by the sea? It’s important to make a list of priorities and to start exploring the various options which Italy can offer.
There’s probably a thousand things I don’t know about flying with a wedding dress, but these feel absolutely essential to share. This stylish Italian wedding is a treat. In fact, I’d go as far as to say it’s a dream. A luxury wedding in the Tuscany hills, planned by one of the very best! You can almost taste the spark of celebration in the air looking at these gorgeous pics of Taylor & Matt’s wedding.
Each day of their weekend-long nuptials was intricately realised by luxury destination wedding planner Elegante by Michelle J. Natasha and Marc’s vision for their wedding day was to get married overlooking a lake, and on our venue search trip to Italy they knew Villa Orlando was the one immediately. It’s a privately owned villa on the edge of the lake. Their guests all stayed about 20 minutes away in Viareggio which is one of Tuscany’s coastal resorts, and we held their welcome party in a beach club. The venue was kept a secret until the day of the wedding.
