Regardless of what happens in the world, one thing we can all agree on is that weddings are joyous occasions best shared with those we love. But as magical as this notion is, the current pandemic has forced us to change the way we tie the knot.
As we head into 2021 it’s safe to say that weddings, like everything, will be a little bit different. But that doesn’t mean they’ll be any less special!

How are you doing, lovely readers? It’s been a rough start to the year, and if your wedding planning mojo has done a disappearing act I hear you. You’re not alone. A survey identifying the most stressful life events identifies weddings as being in their top 10* – and if we add covid worries and postponements onto that, the stress factor rockets.

Oh my goodness, did you see how the world changed last year? I don’t mean the big old general world, I mean the wedding world… which suffered heartache and tears, thousands of postponements and major shifts in how we even plan weddings right now. A happy handful of brave and determined couples went ahead with their weddings on a tiny scale – and micro weddings became a thing. (Which is actually a huge shift in how weddings work – and it’s exciting!)

Hi! I’m Alex, and I run The Tailors Singing Waiters. Like most suppliers, we’ve been commiserating with our couples, and moving all of our bookings to next year (and sometimes even 2022!)
