I am absolutely smitten with this amazing London wedding. If you love peonies, you’re in for a treat! Bianca and Jordan were wed at Fairmont Hotel Windsor Park, a grand country house on the edge of historic Windsor Great Park.  The day was planned and beautifully styled by Michelle and her team of luxury wedding planners at Elegante by Michelle J. The happy couple look fabulous – follow our insta for some incredible dress pics over the weekend!

2 days, 2 looks, 2 cultures – Natasha & Jason’s wedding is out of this world. I love it! I want to see ALL the Hindu weddings on our blog – I’m not sent nearly enough and they are BEAUTIFUL! Today’s gorgeous couple chose North Cadbury Court as their venue for the weekend, and Somerset wedding photographers and videographers Smiling Tiger Studios to capture both days of their wedding. The results are amazing – as always, I had far too many stunning photos to choose from so you’ll find more of my favourites on @englishweddingblog on instagram!

It strikes me more and more often that wedding blogs are ALL about the pretty. We’re doing weddings a disservice. Weddings are full on, crazy emotional days where normal life is amplified by a million percent. There’s love, and more of it in one room than at any other occasion ever in our lives! There’ll be tears and joy and laughter and that feeling you get when you see a friend you’ve not caught up with for years. There’ll be speeches with stories in to make you burst with happiness. Your best friends and parents will say amazing things about how proud they are. All of those moments are huge – and yet we’re all guilty of focusing a tad too much on the florals. It’s not just me, is it?

If ever I’ve seen karma in action, it’s today. Lovely people attract lovely people – and this stunningly beautiful wedding involves a range of very highly recommended suppliers. Bride Hannah has written incredible reviews to share with you – not least for Chesterfield wedding photographer Matt Moore. I have absolutely loved scrolling through Hannah & Aiden’s images – see more on @englishweddingblog insta – and reading all about their very special Peak Edge Hotel wedding. Over to our beautiful bride to tell you more!

No wedding is ever weather-proof! However, having a Plan B for rain on your wedding day can save you from heartache and stress! I stumbled across Elegante by Michelle J’s blog about rainy day wedding planning and had to share her genius tips with you. In Michelle’s own words, “As much as we don’t want to think about the possibility of wet weather weddings, any wedding planner worth their salt will tell you it’s vital to always have a ‘wet weather plan’ just in case – no matter the location or time of year!
