I loved reading Hitched’s wedding trends prediction for 2026, which landed in my inbox this morning. Taking inspiration from Bridgerton, a rise in stately home celebrations and a search for innovative, alternative wedding cakes, 2026 weddings are going to be so exciting! There’s one trend I’m waaaayyy out of sync with – and one conspicuously missing from the list! – but the rest of Zoe’s predictions are utterly fabulous. (I’ll leave the one I think is suspect until last!)

The latest Wedding Trends Report from leading wedding planning website Hitched reveals that weddings in 2026 are going to be more intentional and expressive than ever, full of meaningful experiences and some incredibly retro choices.

It’s wonderful to be sharing this beautiful September wedding with you all today. Izzy and Tom chose some of our favourite suppliers for their wedding, and they’ve sent the sweetest reviews for their English Wedding interview. Not least, Barley Wood wedding photographer Martin Dabek who gets a glowing recommendation from Izzy and Tom. There are some truly breathtaking images of their day here, so slow your scroll and settle in for a lovely read!

We chose Bristol wedding photographer Martin Dabek.

I reached out to Plymouth-based wedding photographer Rebekka Werren when I saw this gorgeous model couple on her instagram.

Luna and Scott have a beautiful connection which brings real magic to this styled photoshoot. The vibe is Italian summer, the location is incredible; the images are bursting with love and promise.

Inspired by the warmth and charm of the Italian Riviera, this editorial shoot brings a touch of Mediterranean romance to the South West coast of England. Set against the dramatic shoreline of Plymouth, Devon, it captures the essence of a sun-drenched celebration — where citrus tones, elegant bridal fashion, and effortless styling come together in perfect harmony.

(Why do we even need to say this? Because media giants are exploiting small wedding brands and it needs to stop.)

Basic directories don’t work. But they’re still charging £££ to join.

Wedding suppliers work SO hard. If industry website owners and editors don’t recognise that and provide value – ie work hard FOR you – they’re not worth your money.

English Wedding’s supplier listings include keyword links which work harder to show search engines your content. And I reach out regularly to our members to ask if they have weddings, product launches or other content to share because I want them to be seen, and I feel a responsibility to help boost their SEO efforts however I can.

Timeless, breathtakingly beautiful images from Suman and Scott’s day are stopping me in my tracks as I scroll today. This stunning couple married at Coombe Abbey and chose English Wedding member Damien Vickers – a luxury wedding photographer in Cambridge – to capture their day. More than anything else, it’s the love in their eyes as they glance at each other that makes Suman and Scott’s wedding so magical. Their words for favourite Coombe Abbey wedding suppliers – including their brilliant photographer of course – are heartfelt. An enchanting wedding – and we’ll share even more on our instagram today @englishweddingblog
